I wonder if a contest would actually make people sign up. Maybe the contest could be the person with the most posts by a certain date wins? I would not be included, since I started the board. And there would have to be certain rules. Like the posts have to be of value to the board. So, if someone spammed the board, they'd be ineligible. Hmmm...

Nice idea scoobyaddict! Plus that would make other members try and get some new members on, and that would probably make some of the members post a lot more! I can do the prizes if you would like. Let me know more please on the details of this perhaps soon-to-be contest.

Ok, here is my idea. I run a contest and whoever posts the most on this forum by August 31 wins. The rules are that the posts have to be actual posts, not just spamming the board. And the posts have to be on topic, not just a bunch of "LOL!'s" and "Haha's". The contest will start on July 1, so it will run for 2 months.
Here is the question...the prize will be an actual physical thing, which means the winner would have to give me their address so I can mail it to them. Will that be an issue for anyone? I still have to think of what the prize will be. Nothing big, but it will be something. I'll find something!
I am disqualified from the contest, as is canman. Anyone else can be a part of it. I will not count any posts that were made before July1, so Scoobygirl and x~Scooby~x will not be in the lead. Sorry! But I have to make it fair. I will note the # of posts you had up until July 1, and then go from there.
What do you think? If you have any ideas on the prize, let me know.
