A tiny bit disappointing that the Loch Ness monster shall stay a mystery forever isn't it? But I have to agree with Velma... "Maybe some mysteries are just better left unsolved" Lol, I had a fun time with that scotish accent! And I did notice Daphne's cousin was just like her with short hair!!! That fake Loch Ness monster looked so mean with those evil red eyes... ughhh... I believe that the magic of the unexplained should be kept...

So I just finished watching this movie for the first time in years. I have to say, it was actually pretty good. It's certainly not up to the level of the first four though, in terms of storytelling and art style. The story was interesting enough, but it felt like it dragged on a bit too much a certain points. The music wasn't all that great though. The characters were handled pretty well, I loved the brothers. Mindy Cohn was excellent for her first time as Velma, and I found her to be probably my favorite of the bunch. Grey was decent for reprising her role as Daphne for the first time since "Cyber Chase". I still missed Nicole Jaffe and Heather North though, especially Heather. The best part of this film was that there was no Fraphne in sight! There were actually more moments between Shaggy and Daphne. Yet again, Warner Brothers (unintentionally) shows that Daphne and Shaggy have more in common than she and Fred ever will. Fred would NEVER be kind enough to carry Daphne's luggage for her! Overall, a good movie and an excellent addition to the franchise.

I wasn't really keen on it. After some really good made-for-video movies, this is when the quality began to go downhill until "Abracadabra Doo." It was just a 70-minute episode of "What's New Scooby-Doo." I think when Scott Jeralds was starting the project, he intended it to be a retro-style movie like "Legend of the Vampire" and "Monster of Mexico" were (with the old voices and sound effects and older animation style), but then Joe Sichta took over and retooled everything to be more "realistic" and "modern." I have a nasty feeling Joe Sichta was not a fan of classic Scooby-Doo. He is probably one of my least favorite Scooby directors... This movie would have benefited by following the format set up by "Legend Of The Vampire". I wish Scott Jeralds had continued working on the series, as it would have been nice to have had Heather North and Nicole Jaffe staying with the series longer. This one really felt nothing like the classics, your feeling about Joe Sichta must be true. The fact that Joe got rid of Heather and Nicole after Scott went through the trouble of bringing them back, and ditched the retro format altogether shows that he doesn't really care about the original series.

Actually, Joe Sichta mentioned he was a Scooby fan, but it was executive meddling that changed the format of the made-for-video movies into 70-minute episodes of "What's New Scooby-Doo." So once again, the suits are to blame! I guess Scott didn't like that and left, and so the position to direct the film was open and Joe volunteered to take over. Which is why movies like this one and "Aloha Scooby-Doo" could have been done better in just a half-hour.

I'm going to have to disagree there. I don't feel any of them would have been better condensed. And honestly i always thought the move back was a up swing. While Legend of the Vampire deliverd a lot more to me i put Monster of Mexico far down on the list. Loch Ness Monster to me was a lot better than the previous installment.

I do think that movies would have been better condensed, they just needlessly dragged on at points.

Whyboy and Scooby reach the Loch and find Nessie. The only question now is. Will this be better then the last two movies? ENJOY!

I found this one pretty boring, easily one of the worst ones in the series imo. I didn't like the setting, didn't like the plot. Not just for me, I much preferred Where's My Mummy and Pirates Ahoy! Maybe because Legend of the Vampire and Monster of Mexico was so excellent for me, this one just let me down hugely.

I liked this one. It isn't one that I really go back to consistently or one of my favorites but it is a very solid movie

Excellent Movie! The art style and animation are much improved from the previous 2 entries and I genuinely love the simple story. Although it's not a dark movie there's plenty of atmosphere on the foggy shores of Loch Ness and the CGi monster actually looks hella creepy, at points.
The Mook films are untouchable but for my money, this may just be the best of the rest!
