First time I ever watch it really on tv! It was great!!! I was certain that Omar was behind this, the villain you know... But the end did surprise me instead. Omar and Velma working together for all this Cleopatra curse... And the dry Nile was fitting together because of that "ancient" city. Imagine my look when I saw people dressed in ancient egyptian clothes, wearing glasses and stuff, prooving that they were modern people! O.O I really liked it! It also showed how greedy humans can be... interesting fact! PS: In comparison with the english version, it wasn't so nicely voiced, but I had to tolarate that. Oh, and as always, it had those impossible to be true parts that only Scooby movies can have! And the musical chase of course!!

It's my next favorite straight after Zombie Island ,(nothing can beat Zombie Island for me really.)It was very excellent, it was a huge twist revealing Velma was behind it, she had very good reasons for doing it, however.

I liked this movie's soundtrack, and the chase scenes accompanied were perfectly done! Very good movie!

It's nice that after everything they've been through that Velma still tries to keep the gang out of it for their safety, but after everything they've been through, I find it a tad unconvincing.

It's my next favorite straight after Zombie Island ,(nothing can beat Zombie Island for me really.)It was very excellent, it was a huge twist revealing Velma was behind it, she had very good reasons for doing it, however. I lied, this is my favorite Scooby movie lol. I don't think I can ever wear this one out. I love it so much. I really like the idea of all things Egyptian, so this movie is most definitely a huge win for me. I find it so satisfying that you can't guess who is behind it until they reveal it, and it's people you would never suspect. In Scooby, I feel like they have a typical villain set-up, and to see them diverge from that a little is really great. I really like the songs that are in this movie, they sound Egyptian while still sounding modern and I think that is just so cool. I like how they tried to bring the curse to life to protect the tomb, I thought that was so clever. Another thing I really like about this movie is that I think it really shows how united the gang is. For example, on the steps after they get back Shaggy and Scooby and they've been just told that Velma was turned to stone, you can really see how much the gang cares for each other shine through. It's not just like, well Velma's gone, looks like we need a replacement. After she was missing they would stop at nothing to get her back and I think that's truly amazing. I think it's also unique how you know who the bad guys are the whole movie. Usually they're working together to figure out who the bad guys are, which they did do, but you also see the true bad guys all through the film and what the gang is doing to stop them, I thought that was cool. Although not crucial to the film, I liked the mystery of the Nile and how it tied into the mystery of Lost City. I also like how some history is thrown in there. The humor in this was great. It was very subtle and through the film and all of the characters had their moments. A common thing I see a lot of is just putting characters in something just for the sake of comic relief and I find that extremely annoying, so I like how that was avoided. Although I really enjoy this film I think it would've been cool if we could've had more background on Amelia Von Butch. I would love to know why she took up treasure hunting and why she thinks it's enjoyable. I think that would be really interesting. Now, before this turns into a book I'm going to end it here. Basically, I really really really love this movie and you all should watch it X

WHilst it's not objectively one of the best movies, it's one of my top favourites as well.

I can sort of see where some of you are coming from on this movie. I understand why so many claim to love it; albeit I think it's more from nostalgia than anything else. I re-watched it today on Boomerang fully for the first time in years. It was probably one of the Scooby movies I saw the most as a kid, or remembered most for the different plot and setting. It was never really that scary, at least to me. I didn't like it quite as much as when I was a kid, although it remains a bit of a guilty pleasure, even though it technically is not a good movie. I found the Soundtrack and a few of the songs not that well thought out or memorable, rather bland. Of course the animation, while being from "What's New, Scooby-Doo" era, is still not as good as the other movies from late 90's to early 2000's.
Bottom line is this movie is a fairly interesting movie with a slight twist, but I agree with an above commenter. I mean, is it really like this mystery was any more dangerous than any other? Velma's actions were not that convincing. For a post-What's new Scooby-Doo movie, I guess it's alright, but it's definitely not in my top 5.

For what it is, this is a good movie. Way better than its predecessor Aloha, but not nearly as good as Zombie Island.

It is a great installment of the direct-to-videos. A little touch of history, a little twist on Egyptian religion. Also an interesting take on Velma. Really fun film.

Eh I don't really like this one unfortunately. Even with the twist, I found this one to be pretty uninteresting sadly. I usually skip this one
