I'm in a quandry over whether I soon rent the movie now or wait for Cartoon Network to show it; although I have looked up Cartoon Network's listings and they don't have it scheduled the next two weeks, so I might end up renting it.

Why don't you watch it on Youtube? www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXDDU3bMNUc&feature=channelSo, I just saw the movie... totally awesome! I love their GPS and the gags about Shaggy and Scooby being brave were just cool. (I love the part when Madelyn says that it's incredible that Shaggy got the griffin and the others look amused at first until they realized it's actually true...) Madelyn... even though the flirting kinda unnerved me at first, it's okay, because I like her. She definitely has some resemblance to her sister, which makes me liker he even more, so I don't mind... I got used to Shaggy's 'new' voice pretty fast... and the opening was just ridiculously cute. Btw, did anybody else saw the Lord of the Ring reference? When Shaggy steps on the bridge with the staff in front of the griffin, it's SO like Gandalf standing in front of the Balrog saying his "You shall not pass!"-sentence. And while I think of this, Shaggy goes and says "Like, you shall not pass, man!" xD

Update: I downloaded the movie from I tunes earlier today and watched on my Ipod Touch this afternoon, so I finally got to see what everybody was talking about, and I have to say the movie was AWESOME!
There wasn't too many things about the movie I didn't like, the only thing that bothered me was at least I thought the opening animated sequence was a bit too long, I would have done the opening like the opening of Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, with music playing in the background while the gang solved the mystery.
As for things that I liked about the movie; boy, where can I begin: Shaggy's new voice and the new designs/animation for the characters/the characters being in their old outfits with the current voices will all take some getting used to. Matthew Lillard as Shaggy was pretty good, it actually reminded me a lot of Billy West's Shaggy voice The GPS gags were pretty awesome, my favorites had to be when it called Fred Scarf boy and his response, along with "You're not going to leave me out here are you?" Velma's sister was a very good character and a great addition to the movie; I wonder what the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo or other Scrappy series would have been like if she had been there instead of Scrappy Doo; I would definitely like to see more of her, plus Madelyn having a crush on Shaggy was fantastic, although form what I saw Shaggy sure didn't want anything to do with her, although he eventually did say I like you to her, which was cute. I wonder if the other Dinkley sister will hook up with Shaggy some day, or maybe she won't. The Shaggy and Scooby being brave moments were cool, in addition Shaggy dressing in a knight outfit was cool too. There were some definite Fraphne moments(which I was expecting and actually didn't mind); especially her being jealous of Fred being attracted to the magician's assistant; although Daphne getting to be the magician's assistant's assistant was unexpected but cool; Daphne trying out gymnastics was cool and it reminded me a lot of the live action movie when she shows that she can defend herself. There was only one song that I can think of in the movie, which was good because they've really overdone it with the music in past years. The gang taking magic classes was pretty cool, in addition Fred's comment of "I think magic is pretty cool"(paraphrasing of course) was pretty nice as well; actually kind of using that in one of my scooby fan fics, although in the fan fics, Fred is studying to become or is a warlock. Overall I thought the movie was well done, well written and well animated; Hopefully the new series will have the same animation style as well. I give it five out of five stars myself(I was tempted to give it four and a half stars but I decided not to), now hopefully Cartoon Network will announce the debut date of Scooby Doo Mystery Inc. soon, i'm really looking forward to that as well.

I loved it! I just got it yesterday, and I've already seen it 3 times! ;D I liked the songs in it, and the Fraphne parts were adorable! I loved how they called Fred "Scarf Boy"! I hope they continue to make the movies like this one.

I really liked this movie. It was quite amusing, very entertaining and well done. I didn't think I would like Shaggy's voice at first, but I got used to it in no time so it wasn't an issue for me. The flirting was done well...it wasn't over the top and didn't really consume the story, it made it funnier. It was a really good movie. I also like when they give more information on the gang, and by having a family member in the movie, we learned more about Velma.
I liked the animation bit in the beginning. Do you think they will do the new series in that style?

The bit in the beginning was cute, but I don't know about a whole series in that style. I think the new series might be in the same style as the movie.
