Nova's speech at the beginning reminds me of the beginning of the film Dune. It's been a while, but I see the similarity. I need to re-watch the finale...when I've fully recovered from the feels from the first viewing.

Wow........ just wow.......... This episode was amazing and beautiful!!!! What an end to an amazing series! I loved how in the end it was the gang's love and friendship for each other that saved Crystal Cove and the world. I thought it was really cool that they were the heart of the jaguar. So they were chosen ones after all. And Mr.E/ Ricky had a redeeming moment, when he tried to stop Pericles and save the gang. The ending was very bittersweet, with the gang knowing what happened and no one else ( other than Harlan Ellison) and the gang now having new lives. And Nova being revealed to have been an annunahki. What a finale!!!! I'm sad it's over!!! PS.- If you review Beware the Beast from Below, when the construction workers break through to the old caves, one of them mentions breaking through to another dimension- guess that was a hint and does anyone know who gave the gang the user's manual?

Wow! What a series! I don't care what other series they make I honestly don't think they could ever top this one! *Spoilers* I was on the edge of my seat for this two part ending! It was exciting! Surprising! And relationships ended and began beautifully! Except for Scooby's love for Nova, that he seemed to have totally forgotten at the end. I wish so badly they would continue this series at least just one more season so that we could look at how the families really acted. It'd be great to see the Rodgers be proud of their son Shaggy. And of course who wouldn't love to see Fred and Daphne's wedding! (Especially the FraphneAddicts like myself) I'd also like to see Brad and Judy with a good relationship with Fred. Before watching it I realized that when Fred spoke with Mayor Jones in "Nightmare in Red" that it was more than likely the last time we'd ever see him. So when they brought him back for the ending I was SO happy. I LOVED THIS SERIES. And the next has some BIG shoes to fill in my opinion. I kinda feel lost without it now so a new Scooby something needs to come on for me to track! haha Agreed!!!!

does anyone know who gave the gang the user's manual? Tony Cervone said it would be revealed, but I didn't see it anywhere. I guess he either lied or CN cut that part off (which actually wouldn't surprise me too much).

This was a great finale!
When I first watched the very end of "Wrath of the Krampus," I never expected that what was in the saroughagus would be the evil entity! I was surprised that Harlan Ellison turned out to be Mr. E. I also thought the entity was destroyed pretty quickly...I thought it would take the whole episode.
Wow, that evil entity did a lot of damage! The town was completely changed! I was wondering a few things at the end: 1. Who gave the gang the user manual? 2. Where was Ed Machine? 3. Is Nova alive? Is she still Scooby's girlfriend? Is she still an Annukai even after everything came undone? 4. Does anyone else besides the gang remember what happened? 5. Is the treasure still out there? 6. How was Handsome/Ugly Jimmy involved?

I'm pretty sure that Mr Peaches wasn't an illusion but a Ghost in that episode, or both. I'm going with Mr Peaches for the User Manual, but, there's no way to be certain. Ed Machine was killed by Pericles Nova is possessed by a Benevolent Annunaki. NO real idea. After Come Undone, everyone is alive somewhere. Mr E, revealed to be Harlan Ellison , also remembers according to the DVD. There should be a few select others worldwide who would know. I think the Treasure is gone. Ugly Jimmy hardly involved, lol.

Ed Machine was killed by Pericles Ugly Jimmy hardly involved, lol. For Ed and Nova, I meant after everything was undone. I thought Ugly Jimmy was involved. After all, he gave Skipper Shelton the second key.

Did anybody also noticed how that they celebrated after defeating the Entity mirrored their celebration at the beginning of the very first episode? I did. Me too.

I would guess the treasure no longer exists, since they undid everything and created an alternate timeline. I also wonder if/how Handsome/Ugly Jimmy is involved as well.

I may be the one here who hated it.
I was pretty underwhelmed by it. The whole Harlan Ellison/H.P. Lovecraft wink to it all turned me off. So Mr. E was really Harlan? Sheesh. It felt like a New Scooby-Doo Movie where the old guest stars appeared. At least they got Harlan to do his own voice (I checked the credits as he sounded so different to me and I thought they got a voice actor to play it).
The worst offender of it all that supremely pissed me off is the mighty "reset button" was now done for Scooby-Doo. So both seasons did happen but no one remembers it except for the Gang and Harlan. If the Scooby watcher was like me, and an avid Doctor Who fan, hitting that damn reset button was the worst thing they could do as people have complained about Russell T Davies (and to an extend Steven Moffat) hitting it at the end of every season for DW since 2005. It's a lazy storytelling fix to get you back to the status quo. Marvel did it with Spider-Man a few years ago (which I understood) and DC did it a year or so ago with The New 52 and all their main characters. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. This one was just bad.
Overall as a series it was hit or miss plot wise but some were exciting episodes. It was the overall, final resolution to the story arc that made it lackluster to me as they could have figured out a better ending with them riding off to experience new adventures out of the town. It doesn't even line up with the 1969 series exactly if that was what they were going for. The Harlan Ellison thing threw me off for sure.

Overall as a series it was hit or miss plot wise but some were exciting episodes. I'd agree with you there, even towards the end there were some very weak episodes. The ending could have been a lot worse given the constraints of time and the wide age-range of the audience. If they'd been given free reign and something like the 202 episodes of the X-Files or 110 episodes of Babylon 5 and a later time-slot they could have done a lot more. It would be interesting to see what plot endings they had come up with when they were developing the show to see the what might have been's.

Ugh, my poor Bab5. The sorely improperly done work on the home video transfers... makes me puuke. I wish I just had 4:3 copies of the original broadcast being upscaled, that would be more appropriate.
