Btw, I hope there was nothing big in yesterday's episode, becuase I didn't get to see it . No, it wasn't that big of an episode, nothing like "Wrath of the Krampus". Did your VCR not work?

Very good episode!
So, I guess there are real ghosts in Crystal Cove! Good ending before the hiatus!
Cool villain!
It was pretty easy to guess Avacados was the ghost.
And not another tinkle joke! Those are annoying!
And this "Nibiru" thing is cool! So now 4 ghosts have whispered "Nibiru", the ghost in this one, the conquistador, the tomb ghost, and the one controlled by Pericles.
Can't wait for Ep 42 (if it ever comes on!).

Hmm...the animal will be the first one to die, huh? A foreshadowing of Peracle's fate, perhaps? Of course, we all know Scooby's not going to share that fate...right? We should have known the old Mystery Inc. isn't going to give up on acquiring the disks--and maybe The Gang will willingly give them up to them if it means what the real ghost says comes true. Let the old Mystery Inc. deal with the consequences! Heh--Daphne's hidden Fred, Shaggy and Scooby at her mansion? Can't wait for her folks to flip out after they catch them there... By the way, I wonder where the disks are hidden...? As for when SD:MI will return for the final episodes, I'm wondering if Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas are suitable guesses...

I think Daph's only hiding Fred and Nova. Scooby was promising to visit her there every day, so I think he'd just dragged Shaggy along to spend time with Nova.
Someone on TZ suggested that perhaps the dog that turns and dies will be Nova rather than Scooby. That would be an interesting twist.
I'm glad they ended with an episode that gives us stuff to discuss and theories to wonder about during the hiatus. This show is awesome for that.

Jeepers is right. Scooby did tell Nova he'd come and visit her every day which means he still lives with Shaggy in his parents house.
This episode didn't "WOW" me at all. It was pretty good though. It just didn't seem very exciting like you'd expect it to be.
So is this like the last episode for a while? :/

Heh--Daphne's hidden Fred, Shaggy and Scooby at her mansion? Can't wait for her folks to flip out after they catch them there... Speaking of which, isn't it weird that we really haven't seen any of the parents this season (save for Fred and Shaggy)? I've been missing seeing the parents. Daph's parents were only onscreen for a second when the Hodag attacked their party... before that I was starting to think Daph threw the party herself behind her parent's backs in light of Judy's reaction. With Fred in their house I fully expect to see more of the Blakes in the second half of the season. I keep picturing the Blakes finding him just as he and Daph get back together and seal it with a kiss. In any event, Judy's comment about the Blakes just has to be explained later. I particularly wish we'd have had a bit of Velma's mom this season. She was getting to be lots of fun and even helpful to the gang last season. Plus, she's the one parent who's actually fairly normal on the show. I really like her. I'm probably the only one but.... By Grabthar's hammer, I've been missing Mayor Dad! His exclamations were something I always looked forward to hearing. It was nice to at least get a moment from him in Krampus. The Galaxy Quest quote not withstanding, those lines from Gary Cole were just so off the wall. At least Sheriff Stone threw us a bone with his Werner Herzog exclamation a few eps back. It still seems that Brad and Judy don't have the slightest remorse for destroying their relationship with Freddie. It'll be interesting to see what they do next to try to get the pieces back for Pericles. They seem to have already pegged his feelings for Daphne to be a weakspot for manipulating Fred. They used it very effectively in Grim Judgement, so I'm wondering if they'll try to use Fred's feelings against him again. One thing I found a bit interesting in this episode was the gang's fear reactions at the very end. I'd expect Fred and Daph to be hugging each other, but this is the first PDA I remember seeing between Shaggy and Velma this season. During Grim Judgement and Night Terrors, Shaggy was actually starting to register on my Jerk-meter for his treatment of Velma. It's not exactly a secret that Velma is very insecure in this incarnation. His comments about her not being circled in the yearbook were quite pointed and quite accurate for why she was really upset, and he seemed just a bit too gleeful while saying it. Maybe it was his revenge for, "Payback, thy name is Nova." In Night Terrors, I didn't have a problem with him kissing Daphne... or even with him liking it. However his going on about how it was the most amazing kiss of his life and how Daphne was like an angel right in front of Velma, the girl he used to kiss... well to quote Shaggy from that episode, "Not cool, Dude!" It's nice to see them not lambasting eachother here. The gang seems to be a more cohesive unit after pulling their sting against the Original Mystery Inc. (Or probably more accurately since Cassidy's sacrifice.) Hopefully, the monk's words won't spoil it too badly. I think that this weekend I'm gonna make some Mocha-Choco-Latta-YaYas and start marathoning the entire series from the first episode.

Does anyone agree that too many tinkle jokes with Vincent Van Ghoul have been made in this series? There was ANOTHER one today!
Just when I start to think that this series is leaned towards older kids/adults, they start making tinkle jokes that only a second grader would think are funny.

A standard episode given some vinegar with a doozy of a cliffhanger ending. It is speculated elsewhere that Nova will be the animal that turns against the others and tries to make off with the Planispheric Disc, thus meeting an untimely end. Scooby Doo will not succumb to turning against his pals for the sake of the treasure. His moral fiber is unbreachable. He may be tranced the way donkey Porto was but he'll snap out of it.
