I think it was a Cartoon Network thing. They also did another parody around the same time called the Scooby Doo Project.

i've seen that one, too. it's okay and they do make some good points in these parodies, it's just strange.

No. I believe it aired during a Cartoon Network marthon.

This aired in pieces over a marathon on Cartoon Network with like each part airing in what was normally commercial place and then aired all together at the very end of it.
I remember it being something of a "....what?" A lot of Cartoon Network's bumpers even if filled with satire in regards to older productions kinda left me with a sour taste in my mouth even as kid. This was like during the age where the people my age in school weren't talking much more about cartoons on tv, but the big thing i remember about this was along the lines of "what a strange thing" and "who's that bald guy or band?"
And to be honest when i was reminded it existed on wikipeida a few years ago....i still had to look up on wikipedia to know exactly who the bald guy and band were lol.
I mention that as humurous because as a 90s child i remember lots of older references still be gotten by kids my age. Guest appearances in re-run of the New Scooby Movies or celebrity gags in Looney Tunes more often than not didn't go over our little heads when we would talk about cartoons in the elementary school days, but CN's somewhat modern attempt, got nowhere with the at least the kids in my area.

Night Of The Living Doo is hilarious. I loved that it was a parody of the retro Scooby format and "The New Scooby Doo Movies".

Wouldn't say the best around, but it was good.

It isn't the best but that's the point, it was obviously made on the cheap by Cartoon Network for a good chuckle or two over the marathon they had. Though many of the references are really dated now haha.
I wish they'd still make stuff like this now when they do marathons (if they do, I haven't seen them do a big marathon in a while now).

It probably moved onto Boomerang, and I don't suppose it shows it anymore if it did ever.
The people who did this for CN actually uploaded it to YouTube in full once a upon a time (with the end credits, which are impossible to find now). I don't know why they took it off other than they decided to or were told to.

I remember the original airing, but then I also recalled (by watching a bumper collection on youtube) it had a second airing during the Adult Swim block. I think it had some of the same people involved that helped launch that side of CN.

You know what's funny? Not this parody that's for sure. But Whyboy watches it anyways to find the humour in this "satire" of The New Scooby-Doo Movies simply known as Night of the Living Doo. ENJOY!
