What did you think of the episode/special?

Didn't do much for me. It seemed too much like a standard Scooby episode (along the What's New line but with the Where Are You! designs) with the Christmas theme.

This episode was good. I like the animation of it, and their dress styles. Although it was nothing special what so ever. It reminded me too much of the WNSD series, that I was in no way a big fan of. I feel like they could have done so much better on this episode. It was too plain and so many things were just no way possible, even thought it's just a cartoon show I think some things could have had more logic, for example, Fred breaking that HUGE chunk of ice with the bare elevator, with just three small smashes. Yeah I hope this isn't their next series. But that's just me

I really liked it also. The imagery of the old house and the spookier parts of the toy store gave it a good creepy feel. And being trapped by the snow storm and the storm effects themselves. Parts of it reminded me of two other horror films. When they barricade themselves in the store, and then the parade Santa leaves and disappears in the storm, it reminded me of Stephen Kings "The Mist". And the arctic-like conditions coupled with the shape-shifting snowman reminded me of John Carpenters "The Thing".
I think I may like these 'mini-movies' a little better in some ways than some of the recent full length DTV releases. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the real Santa showing up which I thought was a little cheesy and took away some of the 'Scoobiness', but otherwise I like it.
Also finally saw the trailer for Mask of the Blue Falcon. Looks interesting.

It reminded me too much of the WNSD series, that I was in no way a big fan of. I wasn't a fan of it either! ;D At least Fred was acting serious for a change, instead of the dumbed-down Fred that WNSD used, or even the first season of SD:MI.

I loved this one. They ended like all great christmass specials do, they had gnomes, they had VERY HIGH QUALITY ANIMATION, they did ALOT in so little time with this special. Verdict: [glow=red,2,300]BUY IT![/glow]

I think the simplicity of the episode is why I enjoyed it so much. It had the just the right amount of mystery and old Scooby gags to keep me entertained.

For those of you who haven't seen it yet, it's on YouTube, but recorded right from the user's TV. The credits are not included, and the camera moves a little bit. There's are English subtititles fro the hearing impaired (ex. [Scooby grunting] etc.). Here's a link: Link not allowed. Please review forum rules for posting links or illegal downloads

I saw that movie off season but, well... I really liked it! I liked the end when in order to give the message of believing, the real Santa helped them through the mystery!!! Mr Winkle was a bit creepy with his "manners"... And I also liked the elf costumes of Velma and Daphne!!!
