No I don't know what it is.
The first SD:MI episode sought to place the show after the old episodes by having them as museum exhibits of the cases the gang had solved. Where do you think the last episode will end up? Them heading off for a skiing holiday (the first episode of WNSD), a lead in to the first live action moving... What do others think, place your bets now only 21 more episodes to go.

Wild guess: The treasure of Crystal Cove will be found but nobody will collect it. The treasure will be lost through unforeseen circumstances (swallowed into the ground by earthquake, explosion, dropped into ocean, etc.). Professor Pericles will meet his demise trying to retrieve the treasure, while the gang departs for whereabouts unknown and purpose unknown (presumably a pleasure trip, which is what they'd deserve after all this).

That... actually sounds like what could happen in the last SDMI. If I were a betting man(which i'm not), I would definitely bet on any and all things in that post happening in the last SDMI episode.

Remember, it was written that the last episode is somehow tied to the first one, which has me completely turned around. I'm out of options....

The last episode is tied because they are going to be in the cave where they found the original locket. As the gang has yet to get to that part in the original gangs history. Fred's dad is the police Sheriff. Its really not that hard to tell this stuff.

Pericles will be captured and the gang will get the whole treasure. I'm changing my answer. The conquistador ghost will come after the gang after they find the treasure.

The gang ultimately will not become rich from the treasure at the end of the series.
I'm sure they will find it, but for one reason or another they won't be able to keep it personally. Maybe they find it, but can't actually get it (because of a cave in for an example reason). Or they find it, get it, but need to give it to crystal cove to rebuild.
Thinking "behind the scenes"...this season was completed without knowing for sure at the time if it was going to be a SERIES finale or just a season finale. They knew enough that they didn't have an order for more episodes beyond #52, so episode #52 will bring a conclusion to the story, but left open enough for a new mystery to be able to begin if necessary. For that reason alone, the gang won't get a solid "and they lived happily ever after" ending...they will still be ready to solve mysteries!

There's no unanswered questions... it never happened, unless your Harlen Ellison, the Gang, or select others to be revealed.
