A good episode, with the added bonus of Mark Hamil (voice of the joker) voicing the villain. There's a heavy focus on fred trying to win daphne back whilst she refuses and continues her relationship. I have to say i was slightly surprised she was so cold, it felt a bit off to me but she made up for it later. Fred seeing a therapist felt overdue, though the session itself was more funny than helpful. He steps up towards the end of the episode and saves the day by piloting a plane! By the end daphne's boyfriend is shown as a fraud and she apologises for everything and the gang welcome her back with open arms. The subplot of shaggy wanting his hair to be long again is continued with him trying different wigs on to compensate. Angel dynamite is present too though the gang still refuse to have anything to do with her. She is told by Ricky (mr E) that fred's parents are returning. The ending is slightly sad in that hot dog water ends up pretty much left on her own whilst the gang celebrate daphne's return, though velma does notice this. Hot dog water is also shown to be working for mr E, though it seems he is trying to save the town even if it does mean the possibility of mystery inc being harmed.

Obviously Fred needs the help.
No, that is not Angel's daughter. She is in a beauty salon.

SPOILERS!
It was a great episode, I also at first thought the beauty salon lady was Angel's daughter.
I had kind of already guessed it was Baylor Hotner, so it wasn't too much of a surprise to me.
I was glad Daphne went back to the gang at the end, but I think they made Daphne slapping Baylor Hotner at the end too dramatic. His face was completely red after she slapped, I don't think that's even possible.
I'd say it was the best so far of the 5 Season 2 episodes!

Finally saw this episode, and man was I ROLLING at the scene where Fred took Daphne and her bed out of the room!!! That was hilarious! I see I forgot to put that in my review, but that was my favorite part of the episode!

If I'm not mistaken, Fred's therapist was voiced by John Billingsley who played Dr. Phlox in Star Trek: Enterprise.
The character looks a lot like him in real life too.
I forgot to check the ending credits to verify it though.

But no, cartoon does action much better than the typical SD live action budget would allow (unless you've the budget of a big move with a big CGI render farm).

CRYBABY CLOWN: Don't make me cry! You won't like me when I'm crying! SHAGGY: Like, dude, we don't like you now! CRYBABY CLOWN: (knocks bathroom door) SCOOBY: Occupied! SHAGGY: Nobody's in here! Way to go, guys! SHAGGY: WElcome aboard, Air Shag and Scoob! SCOOBY: Please enjoy your flight! I laughed so hard on this one!

This episode aired in Greece today. Got the chance to record it, and I will record the previous two when they air on re-run. For now, when they play "Wrath of the Krampus" and have recorded all of them, I'll burn episodes 33-39 on a DVD, just like I'll do with all the season 2 episodes (27-32, 33-39, 40-46, 47-52, like on the original DVDs). That is, unless now that the complete season 2 is translated in Greek (confirmed by the trailer which shows clips only from "Come Undone") they release the Complete Season 2 DVD coming out this October in the US. That'd be cool!!

I like this episode A LOT more than the first part of The Night the Clown Cried
The Fred/Daphne stuff still made me cringe (mostly with the beach scene), but this episode was far more gripping and I would say this is definitely the best of the first three episodes of season 2
