*SPOILERS* episode 30 just aired,"Web of the Dreamweaver" . I have to say i didn't really like this episode, the gang seemed out of character. They kicked hot dog water out of the gang, though they felt guilty about it, especially velma. It was revealed that mr e knew this would happen since daphne had returned and plans to use velma's guilt against her. Velma's still lying to the gang as mr e contacted her and she told them it was a wrong number though she did say she chose them over him she still hasn't learned to simply tell the gang everything. Daphne quickly shot down fred's hopes of dating with a 'i just want to be friends' though later in the episode they seemed to be okay in terms of friendship. The mystery itself was pretty laughable it centered around a world of war craft type boardgame and it was pretty much a case of just waiting till the end to see who was behind it since it was a really obscure clue that pointed to the villain. Shaggy's hairstyle was odd in the extreme as it is still growing back. The ending was interesting as fred's parents return though their greeting to fred was pretty ridiculous considering they hadn't seen him in years.

Was this a spoof of "Nightmare of Elm Street?" That's what it says on Wikipedia right now.

SPOILERS!
It was a good episode, but kind of a weird mystery.
The Dreamweaver was a cool villain, but his motives for blowing up a bank, scaring the daylights out of people, and making people do awful things were dumb. It seems extreme to do all that just because he lost a game.
The other episodes were a little better than this one, but it wasn't a bad episode either.
I was surprised to see Brad and Judy so quickly, I thought they'd return much later in the series.
Lastly, I wonder who the person lurking in the shadows was who had broken into Fred's house the first time. I don't think it was Brad and Judy.

Perhaps it was Ed Machine, who was reprogrammed by Pericles? Meh. Either way, I love the secretive twists and turns this show is giving us, which is different from any previous Scooby series ever. Things are happening in the background, only to come to light down the road.

The Dreamweaver was a cool villain, but his motives for blowing up a bank, scaring the daylights out of people, and making people do awful things were dumb. It seems extreme to do all that just because he lost a game. Some of the villains in this show are like that. Like Maxwell the copy boy in "The Wild Brood" was so bitter from being left out he stole a rocket launcher AND crashed a train in revenge to make the other "orcs" look bad? Surprised these haven't given those episodes or the show a TV-PG rating! The "confess" scene was pretty awesome though. I was half-expecting for Scooby-Doo to also peel off his rubber mask as well, but to reveal whom? (Maybe it all comes from seeing "Never Ape an Ape Man" so many times.) Aside from that, it's always fun seeing dreams get messed around with.

Episode 31 ("The Hodag of Horror) is up at Watch Cartoons Online. Wait'll you see the conclusion of that one. And what Velma does when Mr. E contacts her.

My least favourite of the second season so far.
I like that Daphne is back in the gang but not that they kicked Hot Dog Water out. In seamed very uncharacteristic.
I don't think that the shadow was Brad/Judy because they most likely would have been there together but there was just one shadow.

What that looks nothing like the original picture of Brad. I am not sure but it wouldn't surprise me if that is someone working for a bad guy.

Doo, First off the title sequence still has Hot Dog Water in it instead of Daphne, and this was the CN version I DVR'd. If you still have this recorded you can go back and check it out.
OK, I guess I have to break ranks here and say this is one of my favorite season 2 eps so far. I really liked the Dreamweaver villain. I agree his motives were weak, but that's been a characteristic element of SDMI so it didn't bother me.
Did anyone else notice that Scooby wasn't there in Shaggy's 'flashback' sequence when Shaggy confessed to being a C&C player? The one where he's under the bed covers in his room playing? Does that mean he hadn't gotten Scooby yet at that time?
I'm also not sure that's really Brad & Julia. I know most of you already know the answer by now but please don't tell me!
OK all for now. Anxious to watch EP 31.

I'll check out my recording of the episode soon.
Btw, Isn't her name Judy instead of Julia?
