You're welcome. The pages also make me wonder if The Benevolent Lodge of Mystery may have investigated/been interested in the Krampus. Nothing concrete, but it's interesting that scientists of the early Victorian era (1850s) were investigating his good/bad radar. TBLOM were late Victorian (1880s). If this has all happened before, TBLOM could have been investigating a mystery from the generation before them just like Mystery Inc. investigating the disappearance of the first Mystery Inc. Add in Krampus's connection to aliens. Also Frau Gluck would be of Germanic origin and therefore would have grown up with tales of Krampus. There could be a connection there as well.

So this episode is great. The Krampus is hilarious (although I guessed that Charlie had been modified). OH MY GOD. Fred tricking the original Mystery Inc. is great! SO GREAT! Fred is so naive and oblivious to so much ,but just as in how he managed to disarm the bomb to the last possible second with a trap, Fred now uses his planning skills to the max. I love it. I also loved all the cameos to older villains, plus Charlie the Haunted Robot playing into everything, it's all great. Such a good episode. I'm also pretty fond of the trap the gang used in the old toy factory. It reeked of classic Scooby-Doo traps (that I recall anyhow).

This episode aired in Greece today. First time I watched it, I was staring at the screen like those guys: This time, I almost laughed! The new Mystery Incorporated tricked the old! For a change...And their plan was brilliant and quite elaborate!! The scenes in the toy factory were uber creepy! It's probably one of my favorite episodes!!!

i started watching this show yesterday when i got a fever, and am now just finished this episode, i can't believe how much i'm into it. i don't think i would like it as much if the underlying mystery of the old mystery incoperated wasn't intergrated in the show, but with it, it makes it one of the most interesting things i've ever watched! also, how could fred trust the ex mayor to hold the pieces without taking them for himself? i know he's in jail, but it's hard for people to change that quickly.

Of all the episodes of SDMI, Krampus ties with Creeping Creatures (episode 2) for the top of my list solely because of the pure gold that was the ending!

I loved this episode. The use of Krampus wad unique and interesting. I loved the way professor Pericles pronounced Krampus. I loved the throwback by using Charlie the Robot and the plot twist was amazing.

I was very impressed with how they took a dark myth and made it kid-friendly without losing too much of the real lore.

Indeed! And the complete Planispheric Disc was truly beautiful! Agreed! I am so late to this party, but I'm glad I'm finally finishing Mystery Incorporated and have these old posts to read as I watch. I'd seen bits and pieces the first season but never the second. Things really go for a turn once the second season sets in! I didn't realize how intense it could get!

Have to agree that it's one of the best SDMI episodes. Krampus is uber creepy and the twist at the end is so perfect. I love the gang so much.

This is the second best episode of the series in my view, and gave Night Terrors a real run for its money. This was a really good episode even throughout most of the episode, but where it becomes the second best of the series is definitely in the jaw dropping plot twist at the end. This is the true climax of the series in my opinion, and it is just such a wonderful episode
