BEST. SD:MI. EPISODE. YET. WHAT The Gang did here was BEYOND fantastic! HOW they did it was BEYOND fantastic! They did "The Sting" proud--and pulling it off against the old Mystery Incorporated really was the coupe De grace! BWAH-HA-HA! Can't wait for everyone's reaction!

Oh. My. God. This was fantastic! I can't even begin to describe...just WOW!
The "Enigma Machine" was a nice touch, too.

This was an awesome episode! Suprising they used so many old villains, and that they were the Krampus! They sure were convincing!
A very good part- "I don't have to listen to you because. You. Are. OLD!"
Also, as for what was in the tomb in the end: It was obivously the conquistador. He said the same thing he did in Episode 34.

Trust me, you WON'T be disappointed, ThatRainbowGirl. Might I recommend that you DON'T read the rest of this thread if you want to be surprised?

Looks like Fred's real parents ARE jerks. Unbelievable. Then Fred Sr. and what he did. Even MORE unbelievable! Er, where's Fred going to go now? Live in the Mystery Machine? Loved how the old Mystery Inc. looked after they discovered they were tricked--like absolute fools. Take THAT!

Yeah, I don't plan on reading more of it. I sure wish that these episodes would be uploaded faster, though... I always end up a day or two behind >w< Episode 38's on Amazon and Itunes for $2.99, but they both call it "Where Stalks the Scarebear" instead of "Scarebear."

I couldn't believe Fred showed his parents where the disk pieces were, & then I was so happy at the end! The gang WON! WOOT WOOT! I was so stinking proud of Fred, he's finally taken everything like a man! I just wonder where he'll live now. SO EXCITED TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODE!!!!!

All I have to say is HOLY COW!!!(to quote the late great baseball announcer Harry Carey).
So many plot twists, so much deception and betrayal, and to top it all off: Fred basically told off his real parents and pretty much said he wouldn't care if he sees them ever again(he actually said Don't expect me home for dinner tonight, or ever, but we all know that's what he really meant).
I have to admit Fred did a better job handling his parents being crooks then how he handled finding out the ex Mayor Jones was a crook.
Question is, does Fred leave the gang again now that he has no one in his family he can trust? Or does he go back to ex Mayor Jones?
I honestly hope after all that Fred's gone through, he doesn't have another emotional breakdown in later episodes fater finding out about Brad and Judy. The gang really needs him, and I hope Fred can put all of the past behind him and help the rest of the gang break the curse of Crystal Cove or stop whatever evil is lurking in the shadows so to speak.
More importantly, as Cassidy told Daphne: don't make the same mistake she did, patch things up with Fred, get back together and start being a couple again. Cassidy knew the two of them were meant to be, and I think if Fred just buckles down and gets serious, he and Daphne could definitely end up back together.
As for Mr. E and Pericles... anybody remember the old TV show The Wild Wild West with Robert Conrad and Ross Martin?
I say that because Mr. E aka Ricky Owens, and Professor Pericles are officially the Dr. Loveless(he was a mad genius who always tried to destroy James West and to a lesser extent, Artemus Gordon in the show) of Scooby Doo.
Mr. E and Pericles(and yes Brad and Judy too) are the perfect rivals to the gang. As this season has showed so far, they are the perfect archnemesis to Scooby and company and would be great(in my opinion) retooled as a group of people(and a parrot) who like Dr. Loveless, would go every place the gang did, and tried to do them in.
In addition, this series as it's proven time and time again, is one of the best cartoon series on TV right now.
It has the perfect mix of mystery, action, adventure, a continuing storyline, and is continuing to surprise viewers with its plot twists; from one minute to the next, you have literally no idea what's going to happen, as shown with today's episode.
Even if you've never been a big Scooby fan, I have to tell everybody to watch the show(but watch the other episodes first to catch up). This is now officially the animated version of Dallas or Dynasty, or Knots Landing, etc.; it will keep you guessing, it will make you want more, in other words it's everything that a good TV show should be.

Too bad CN doesn't agree with your assessment, nickle. As for the Wild, Wild West, I have the entire DVD set. Excellent series! Lastly, I think Fred has his family to keep him sane: The rest of The Gang. They, especially Daphne, will take care of him. I wonder if the old Mystery Inc. will try to go after the others of the new Mystery Inc....?
