So as far as Angel goes, I don't think she's dead...but hey, this show IS dark, so the possibility is indeed there. I know. I started watching this episode and was shocked by the carnage and hyper-realistic destruction of the radio station at the start. Am I the only one who noticed this show has an alarmingly-high amount of stuff blowing up? We've seen buildings, cars, trains being graphically destroyed (I don't think Crystal Cove's railway line has been reopened yet ever since the bridge destruction and train wreck in "The Wild Brood!") The ending was an even bigger shocker. I'm surprised that they still allowed the show to be rated TV-Y7-FV with all the content it has. I mean, would you rate the Don Bluth movie "Anastasia" TV-Y7-FV if rerunning it? (That film has the same levels of darkness and violence as SD:MI does.) Meanwhile, the much tamer "The Looney Tunes Show" still gets stuck with a TV-PG rating!

And confirming my earlier post Just an FYI; Ralph McQuarrie Darth Vader design elements were also borrowed form the same era German designs as Jin-Roh, as well as Samurai suits, to form the concept design of the Star Wars Villan Yeah, thanks!

I have noticed that there are many things that have blown up as well. Now we just need an episode with an H-bomb test! (Maybe complete with fake building set-ups and mannequins in a desert, like those nuclear bomb tests they did in Nevada in the '50s, or in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull.") ;D

Ya know, in a cartoon folks would have far less issues of someone surviving a nuclear blast in a refrigerator (I'm looking at you Indiana Jones ) Besides....that's EXACTLY where Scooby and Shaggy would be anyway ;D

Looks like Mayor Nettles and Sheriff Stone are becoming an item. ("I'll get my smoker" Jeez, that's TV-PG right there! What are they thinking of at Cartoon Network?)

If I recall from series 1 (IIRC the "Battle of the Humongonauts" episode) the Sheriff brought a BBQ round to Fred's house to help the gang sort out their relationship issues. He could be referring to something to smoke food.

i'm not sure if shes dead, but i got the feeling things were coming to a head all though the episode. while hasvng characters die is not unique to Mi, a lighthouse guard died in Whats NEw, death is something that is really ever present n this series, death, destruction, and infighting..

Yep, a smoker-type barbecue grill. But I'm pretty much tempted right now to write a letter to Cartoon Network about re-rating this show TV-PG anyways, while "The Looney Tunes Show" has its rating changed lower, but should the Looney Tunes Show be TV-Y7-FV, or TV-G? There have been a minor amount of innuendos, but not as much as SD:MI, and it has next to NO graphic violence or explosions or fight scenes, and so far no death-related things either!

SD: MI is a better show than looney Tunes anyway. If they have aired any episodes from looney Tunes Show I havent seen them..

I'll posit that Cassidy isn't dead--there are still 14 episodes to go, and she'll show up close to or at the end once Pericles plays his trump card. I couldn't help but feel that Cassidy's comment to Daphne about relationships, "Don't make the same mistake twice" had a note of finality on it, but like I said, we still have a ways to go.
