I found out from another forum (as reliable as this one) what the next episode is titled, and what it's about. However, I'm going to wait until it comes out, presumably on Watch Cartoons Online so I can see it for myself. Hint: iris101z from this board was right! ;D

Saw it as well, and the only thing marring it was that the culprit behind the spook was given away too soon. The door is certainly left open at the end of the episode, and with three episodes left, we might be scraping our jaws from the floor for a week.

Someone on there mentioned this ep proved that Brad and Judy weren't Fred's parents. How so? Right. All Fred Jr. has to go on is a picture and the word of Mayor Jones that it's his mother and she left when he was a baby. Given how much of a liar Mayor Jones is, that's not much of a proof.

Daphne's comment at the end of the episode indicates that she may think Jones Sr. isn't on the up-and-square.

Yes, it was a terrific episode. I suspected Pericles when I saw the sunflower seeds, though I suddenly recalled that that other board said Pericles was behind it... Okay, only three episodes until the end. When will Brad and Judy appear? And of course Mayor Jones isn't on the up-and-square. The man has his own plans, which were spoiled by Pericles. Now, why do I think Shaggy and Scooby are going to be targeted by Mr. E in the next episode to get the gang's puzzle piece...?

It's a given. Pericles doesn't know that Shaggy and Scooby have the piece and neither does Mayor Jones. I foresee Mr. E. sending Angel/Cassidy to get the piece.

I'm worried about when Velma will tell her friends about Angel/Cassidy. I'm afraid she might end up looking bad if it's too late...

Spoiler Alert! You know, I just thought about something after watching this episode again: What if Scooby broke the picture of Fred's so-called mother here rather than what happened during "All Fear the Freak"? Would things have been a little different? Speculate, people!

Spoiler Alert! You know, I just thought about something after watching this episode again: What if Scooby broke the picture of Fred's so-called mother here rather than what happened during "All Fear the Freak"? Would things have been a little different? Speculate, people! By itself, without an accumulation of other evidence, it could be explained away fairly easily. Say Fred Sr. had a relationship with a magazine model. He might have no other pictures of her, and want a memento after they broke up. The date's a bit harder to explain. Fred Sr. might say he didn't know the exact birth date, but chose the magazine date as close enough. In this case, the model might have given birth to the boy without even telling Fred Sr., and brought the baby to him because she was tired of raising him. Nothing criminal in that for the Mayor. It would make Fred Jr. sad, and he might try to trace the woman in the picture, but he wouldn't instantly conclude his whole life was a lie.
