I checked CN.com this morning, and it looks like Ep. 14 won't be airing for a while, for November 1st (two mondays from now) it says that no Scooby is airing on that day. I hope we don't have to wait like this for new episodes for much longer!

On Wikipedia it says "Make it or Break it" is the next episode, with a zombie clown.

UPDATE: I checked CN.com and it says "Howl of the Fright Hound" is playing at 6pm (central time), NOT "Make it or Break it" .

Curious what everyone else thinks. I know it's kinda hard to do when they break for a week or two & the air-date schedule is uncertain, but could we go back to including the episode title in the Topic field where possible? I'm going to start getting confused which number goes with which episode real quick!! "Let's see, Episode 19, was that the one with the werewolf alien or the octopus ghost?" Mark

Wikipedia is not known for accuracy, so what they say is happening in "Make It Or Break It" I'd take with a grain of salt. They now have episode titles "Moonlight" (Nov. 8) and "Lake Fake" (Nov. 15).
As for such gaps in episode air times, it's not as cheap or time effective as it used to be to make a cartoon for TV. In 1969, a half-hour episode of Scooby Doo, Where Are You! cost roughly $90,000 and each episode was completed in about six weeks. An average episode of Mystery Incoporated costs roughly $800,000 and can take up to six months to complete. So even though we may not get any new eps even during November sweeps, we can sit tight for now. The staff of the show wants to make sure each episode is as good as they can deliver.

Yeah I totally agree with you. Also, that is some great information and so very true. Oh and I agree with Mark, we should go back to havin the episode name as the titles to the threads.

I knew it costed money to make cartoons but I never even imagined it would be that much! thats like 3 times the price of our house, how much does each episode make for the company to make it worth their while to make them? after learning this I am totally ok with waiting a while, scooby every fe months is better than no scooby at all, though the suspense will probably kill me oh well still need to get through ep13 before I need to stress about this one, been staking out youtube waiting for it to show up, if i didnt do that then Id have to wait a good year for the first one to show up on my tv though to support the show Im going to get those episodes on dvd as soon as they are released, then I can watch those episodes as much as I want! any way hope 14 is a good one

Hm. According to a site I found, $90,000 in 1969 had the same buying power as $547,476.34 in 2010. Annual inflation over this period was 4.50%. If this is so, then producing a new cartoon is even more than we think. Here's the site: www.dollartimes.com/calculators/inflation.htm

I just looked at Wikipedia, and "Make it or Break it" and "Moonlight" have been deleted! I hope we don't have to wait until after Thanksgiving for a new episode!

$800,000 and six month, that cant be right six months for one cartoon, i read on the comedy central site that south park takes a week to make. Also 800,000 thats maybe the staffs salaries for a season but not he cost of 1 ep.

Now for some strange reason, Wikipedia has "Mayhem at Grimwood High School" to air Nov. 22. I don't think it's valid though.
