Had to watch it late, so I'll probably post more tomorrow, but I liked it. The first one without a Mr. E connection. I thought the Velma/Shaggy thing was kinda funny. He threw out the pants at the end and she was cool with it and smiled, so I still like her. Just a funny growth phase in their relationship. Maybe she's never dated before or something.
The kid thing was pretty creepy, and I thought the neighborhood looked cool with all the burned out stuff.
A creepy looking villain too.

I didn't that Velma kept telling Shaggy not to say 'like" and making him wear really tight pants. I thought it was strange that there was nothing from Mr. E in the episode. I was a little surprised that the kids were wearing Que Horrifico masks. I thought they were going to say that the kids were hyptnotized or something.
Overall, it was a good episode. Can't wait for next week!

Just finished watching this episode. I really liked it. The monster and the scary children was all really scary! lol. Only thing I didn`t like was how Velma is trying to change Shaggy =/ Just makes me wanna say to her, `If you don`t like him eating junk food, wearing baggy pants and saying Like, why are you with him? Those are all the things that make Shaggy, Shaggy.`
But anyways, I`m glad Shaggy stuck up for himself in the end. I`m still reallyyy liking this series. Can`t wait to see more!
No she didn't. LOL. Still not sure where I got that from, but I could've sworn I read something about her singing in one episode...like it would be the first time one of them has done that. Maybe they get onstage with the Hex Girls or something, or I'm just totally out of it.
OK! I'm not crazy afterall. Finally found where I read that. It was from one of those website links in the Comic-Con 2010 thread where someone in attendance related things discussed during a panel session. Here it is:
"As far as the episode goes, it's called "Trap of Love" and It's a good one! I won't post spoilers, though. But rest assured, stuff happens on this series, the characters don't just tread water for 26 episodes. They evidently go to the prom in episode 4 or 5. There's some definite evolution to the various relationships, and this episode largely focuses on Daphne and Fred (read that episode title again...) There's also some original songs, and Grey Gisele (voice of Daphne) has a song of her own in this one."
Scooby ilu xox, this sounds like one you won't want to miss.
(Reading this a 2nd time though, I'm not sure now whether Daphne the character actually sings, or just her voice actor? Maybe a background song or something.)

-The first season is 26 episodes with an over-arching mystery arc that will be resolved at season's end. -They were able to get permission from Vincent Price's Estate to use the character of Vincent Van Ghoul. Van Ghoul will be showing up throughout the season. -The producers say no one been able to guess correctly about Mr. E and the CURSE OF CRYSTAL COVE mystery. Maybe they've been reading the message boards?
