I'd be fine with Shag + Velma thing if Velma wasn't being such a annoying jerk. Other than that, this was one of my favorite episodes yet. I agree with this, it was a little weird seeing Velma and Scooby fight over a doll like that I hate seeing Velma this way, hopefully soon they'll get along that or I want a break up

OK, hope there aren't any spoilers for anyone. If you don't want any, you might skip on down to the next post.
This episode reminded me of "Secret of the Ghost Rig" a little bit, in that it seemed more of a 'character development' episode with an interesting mystery attached to it, rather than the other way around. Following up on the Fred/Daphne revelation from last week, and Velma trying to figure out her situation with Shaggy and Scooby a little better. I did like her conversation with her mom...which was kinda interesting since it was probably the most serious mother/child conversation they've showed yet...where her mom says something like "well honey, no one likes a know-it-all". I thought that was funny.
Actually there was a good bit of humor in this one too. The villain with the short legs, the closet pirate, all the pirate talk, Fred still wearing his ascot with his costume and using it to swing down a vine or something.
I liked this villain better than the SotGR episode. I thought the jellyfish venom was a pretty cool idea. That's something new as far as I can tell. I kept wondering how the pirate's were getting paralyzed and why they glowed so much.

The BIG mystery to me though was at the end when Velma got that package and photo from Mr. E.
Why was Pericles circled in Red? Does that mean something's up for Scooby? As in whatever happened to Pericles might happen to him I mean?
I think Mr. E did say something about what happened before would happen again. Something like that. And they have led up to the idea that the gang could be in some sort of danger.
I'm wondering if this might tie into the Shaggy/Velma/Scooby triangle somehow. The writers have spent a lot of time creating a sense of conflict there. Maybe they plan to have Scooby be dognapped or something, and Shaggy and Velma have to work together to help him, with Scooby having to learn to trust Velma again in the end?
I'm just starting to think they've worked up the whole Velma/Shaggy/Scooby thing too much to simply be a secondary backstory. I'm not sure where they'll go with it, but I'm beginning to think it may more integral to the Mr. E story than I thought. I've been a little surprised that they've let the fans get so worked up over this, but now I'm wondering if it may be part of the upcoming plot? Maybe not, but it'll be interesting to see.
Will be glad when everyone else has a chance to watch it.

Saw Episode Yestery at night good thing i now how to find online(Uplaoded Youtube if anyone didn't yet watch) For The last scene, The Red Circle i think its because Mr. E. is Pericles, because it sayd those kids where gone, BUT now the parrot, so just think those kids are The Scooby Doo Gang, So Mr. E. Thinks theres a change to find those missing kids, whit the Scooby Doo Gang. And For The Voice Of Mr. E. Is Like that because alot of people can make a tape then put his voice louder, tiny etc.(i think). "Don't Give Up, this all happand before" that's another way of sayng that Mr. E. Can be a Person/Pet that know Mystery Incorporated(Missing Kids) very well, has well has Scooby Doo Gang Parents, and he has People working for him like that mask figure, drop that box. He Just want's the missing kids back, like Scooby Doo Loves Shaggy, the Pericles Loved Other "Version" Of Shaggy. Its all the Same, that what i think

I liked this episode.
The villain was cool. It really surprised me that Scooby snapped at Velma like that. That was weird!
The other thing that surprised me is that Fred learned absolutely nothing from last episode. I know he's supposed to be dimwitted in these episodes, but you would think that he would learn to care for Daphne more. Weird.
Once again, I liked this episode.
Can't wait for the next episode!

Alrighty, just watched this episode and I liked it. Was pretty interesting. I`ll be honest, I was shocked when the unmasked the gnome! lol. The whole Scooby growling at Velma really caught me off guard. Never pictured Scoob acting like that. But what can you do. All in all, good episode. I`m glad Velma has opened up to Daphne, hopefully having a friend to talk to will calm Velma down abit.

I was kinda surprised that Scooby snapped that way too.
But since they're trying to make the characters a little more real this time around, I guess we'll see something like that now and then.
I was surprised at who the villain ended up being too. The whole 'fake legs' thing really threw me I guess.

just a little side note: how many episodes do u thing we will see once the kids who are missing r found. i want to see the two gangs either start feuding for top mystery gang or solve some crimes together before ending it. maybe by releasing the kids they release real monsters and they have to work together to stop the monsters. i just dont want to see a hurrah we found the lost kids hi wats up this is the end of mystery inc ending.

i watched the ep n loved it (like wiith all the others lol) and something came to my attention (it might be nothing but anyway) when fred was finding a person to get the blue jellyfish stuff, the girl he chose resembled Daphne alot. and when velma said something like Daphne went to get braclets why did daph ne to get them?

So that when the gnome touched them they wouldn`t be affected by the jellyfish stuff.

Just caught the 2nd half of this ep again on TV. A couple things I just noticed or forgot to mention.
I thought the network of treehouse bridges up in the forest was really cool. Reminded me a little of The High-Rise Hair-Raiser.
Also forgot to mention I thought it was funny that Velma called Daphne "Danger-Prone Daphne". I think that's the first time they've used that phrase in SD:MI.
Also, did anyone notice that Littlefoot the villain looked a lot like Richard M. Nixon? The nose and the hair and all? If anyone here remembers him that is. LOL.
