I really liked this one. When I first saw the phrase "man-crab" I thought it might be kinda cheesy, but that was a pretty cool villain. Especially the way it ran around the caverns upside down, and I like how it saw everything with that distorted vision.
I liked the imagery of the library and the caverns. It was neat how this one explored the relationships a lot, but worked them into the story more.
Did anyone notice Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm on the beach? And were those little kids that kept showing up a cameo of someone? I thought at first maybe they were supposed to be the gang from A Pup Named SD, but it didn't look like them.
The most surprising thing though was the ending. What does the lady DJ (does she have a name yet?) know about all this?
One thing that was weird to me was when Velma got snatched for a moment, and then Daphne got kidnapped. I almost thought Velma had been replaced by an imposter afterwards, because she acted so calm and like she didn't know what had happened. Maybe I just missed something or followed it wrong.
Anyway, a really cool ep.

I really liked the episode too. I saw Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm. I even said they were there and my husband rewinded it to see them. I also believe that Brenda and Dylan at the beginning of the episode were based off of Brenda and Dylan on Beverly Hills 90210. He had sideburns and she had a total attitude, just like in 90210. I could be wrong, but they totally reminded me of that show. Was the sailor at the crab shack supposed to be a cameo of someone? He looked familiar and was only shown for a few seconds.
I was also surprised by the DJ at the end. I wasn't expecting her to possibly have anything to do with the mystery.
The humor in this one was so funny! Fred digging, even in the studio, was hilarious! I didn't like how bossy Velma was with Shaggy though. Did you notice that Shaggy told Scooby that he was giving up junk food for Velma and then said it was for him, and Scooby told him he wouldn't tell Velma if Shaggy got junk food? Hopefully, that means Scooby will be ok with it.
I too was worried by the title when I first saw it and wondered why they would have a man crab, but I was impressed with how they worked it in. I liked how it dragged people through the sand as well as how it walked through the caverns. I was surprised too when it grabbed Velma and then tossed her aside to grab Daphne, but it seems like they went back to SDWAY when Daphne was the one who normally was taken by the villain.
I really enjoyed this episode. Can't wait for next week!!!

I also liked the episode.
I did see Pebbles and Bamm Bamm at the beach. I was also really surprised by the DJ at the end.
I really hated Velma being so bossy with Shaggy. I was surprised by how good the episode was for how cheesy the title seemed. Fred was pretty hilarious in this one, and I really enjoyed the episode.
I can't wait for more episodes!

Hmm, I didn't think about a 90210 connection. Not sure about the sailor. I'll have to watch again. I thought it was funny too when Scooby was laughing with the Crab Shack captain at the end, and then said "I have no idea what you're talking about." Was glad I wasn't the only one. Yeah, the scene with the DJ at the end was the one that gave me a little chill. What to think of her now? Really complicated the mystery, and that back story is really starting to intrigue me now. I knew something was up with her the way she acted when they received that old newspaper ad, which of course came from Mr. E. Makes you wonder if he's trying to expose something that her and Fred's dad know something about, or if they're trying to protect the gang somehow? Can't wait to find out more! Mark

Just watched the episode via youtube. Loved it! I must say, that crab was kinda scary lol. I noticed the whole bambam and pebbles thing too. I think this episode was really funny too. Fred freaking out over Daphne being taken made me laugh! I really like how over the years Fred has gotten funnier and such. lol. Also, at the end when Scooby was like, I have no idea what your talking about. That made me laugh too. Really good episode all in all. Can`t wait to see next weeks!

This one is my favorite of the series me thinks. One thing I didn't like, was how bossy Velma was to Shaggy, but she seems to have let Shaggy eat junk food in the end thank goodness. I really liked the action scenes in this one too and I loved how Scooby said I'd cover for you. The music was geat too and it ended classic Scooby like. I just hope Velma doesn't start to dislike Scooby for interupting romance. Over all, fun episode.
