I really wish they had finished the series properly, it was really Scooby at his finest. Anyway, I found myself enjoying "That's Monstertainment" most of all. I really liked the plot and the way it played out. This show had some excellent episodes overall though, I have no complaints for any of them. I'd love another series in this format, it really worked well. I enjoyed the dynamic between Shaggy and Daphne.

I liked "It's a Wonderful Scoob". Generally, the whole 'going back and forth in time to realise your misdeeds and/or the results of them' thing really appeals to me.

My favorite has always been "Scoobra Kadoobra," with "That's Monstertainment" close behind.

Who knows... I always thought the producers assumed since the ghosts are 13, then the episodes would be too...

You'd think that with 13 Ghosts, they'd manage to wrap it up in HB's typical 13/16 episode seasons. I guess the ratings weren't good, since the original Scooby canon timeline was pretty much canned after this and then given the reboot treatment. It really sucks though, because this show had an amazing format and group dynamic. You can never have enough of Shaggy and Daphne! This really makes me wonder...did WB intentionally choose to ignore the Shaphne days? Their timelines don't add up with where HB left off at all and they brought back the long-dead Fraphne relationship.

The ratings in this case weren't really the problem. As heard from people on other forums formerly employed at HB, this one ending was mostly because the network realized they had more than enough re-runs to continue on without having to fund new ones. Apparently the idea it would be the season that was left open ended, seemingly was just irony.
The Scooby franchise itself was not really in jeopardy as the Superstars 10 movies came up quickly and then A Pup Named Scooby Doo started not long after. That being said Scooby's worst period there was still kept alive in re-runs before returning in the next form.
I'd argue the real question is what was the plan post Pup and before the Turner buyout. Given in truth Scooby didn't have a true lull until the Turner buyout, which as i posted in the one movie thread, everything HB had in play that was not funded was grounded at that point and most of which never survived to get funded. I'd be surpised if around the time of Pup ending they didn't already have some idea around for more scooby.
Note: That assuming that Arabian Nights was probably a mess that had the name characters added post the original idea.

"It's a Wonderful Scoob" is my favorite. This episode is one of my favorite episodes in all of Scooby-Doo actually. That episode was kind of sad actually...
