My favorite is "Scoobra Kadoobra" with Maldor, the malevolent.

I will let you know soon. I am hoping to watch them this weekend so I can get pictures of the villains to add to my site. It's been a long time since I have seen these episodes.

Oddly enough after watching them all a couple of times again; probably the first one and Me and My Shadow Demon. Although I think Me and My Shadow Demon might be at the top because they played some of the old musical score in parts of the episode.

When I was watching the 13 ghosts today, I saw that in the 1st episode, Vincent Van Ghoul said that ghosts could not open the chest of demons, but somehow, Zimbulu, Zomba and Time Slime were able to open the chest? I'm very confused !

I have yet to watch all the episodes. I'm really hoping to get all the villains on the site this week. I am missing 1 episode though I do remember some of them opening the chest though. It is very odd. Maybe it's just one of those things where the writers weren't paying attention to the storyline they created.

"It's a Wonderful Scoob" is my favorite. This episode is one of my favorite episodes in all of Scooby-Doo actually.

I'm very confused ! I consider it more to do with the theoretical "seal" on the chest. Only a living being could break it and free them. But at the same time they couldn't get out themselves. Once the seal was broken they could touch it and open it to re-free the others. But once they had captured all 13 it probably would need to be resealed like it was before the gang showed up.

very true matt, although i dont think the gang ever caught all 13 ghosts, as the season only lasted 1 season.

I believe they caught 11 or 12, depending on if you count the one from "Ship of Ghouls."

so 1-2 short. that likely was saved for a second season, which obviously never happened.

Apparently it was the ironic fallout. Since it was common in those days to have "second seasons" that maybe had a few new episodes was mostly re-runs. Turns out the season the network finally said "we have enough scooby's to air re-runs" was the season they actually had a continuous plot to wrap up, and by the time it was time for the next scooby feature, they decided to do something different. So we got left with a cliffhanger for all eternity.
I remember for a while wikipedia listed the names of the two supposed deleted monsters, but they took them down, so i doubt they were real. The occasional poster who worked at HB that post on other forums all seem to corroborate the idea the plan was to have a short second season but was thrown out in favor of the just showing re-runs.

Interesting, I didn't know some of that. Thanks for posting. Btw, I also remember those two "deleted" monsters.
