Years ago (early 1980's) I saw an episode that had a scene where some of the characters were walking through an old house (castle?) and the house owner was showing the gang some photos of family ancestors on the wall. I recall the names of the ancestors because they are the names of my brothers and myself...Nathaniel, Benjamin and Clayton. Does anyone remember this episode (or am I just crazy)? Sounds like "Loch Ness Mess" to me, but I could be wrong!

Yes, that is from "Loch Ness Mess" of The New Scooby-Doo Movies.

It also could have been "Moonlight Madness"

It also could have been "Moonlight Madness" No, I don't think it was that because only one picture was shown there.

Yeah. That's what I thought too. Also, "Loch Ness Mess" is from the 1970s, not 1980s.

Yeah. That's what I thought too. Also, "Loch Ness Mess" is from the 1970s, not 1980s. While the Lochness Mess episode of the New Scooby Movies was from 1972, it's possible the person who posted previously mentioned the early 80s because that person watched Scooby Doo in syndication at that time. I do remember reading the New Scooby Doo Movies from 72 and 73 were halved and run in two parts in syndication back then, so it's definitely possible that person watched The Lochness Mess in syndication on a local station somewhere in the U.S. or possibly Canada. By the way, I remember when Kids WB was rerunning Scooby Doo every afternoon back in 2002/2003, they reran a few New Scooby Movies episodes as well. But just as the episodes were halved in the syndication run of the show, when Kids WB reran them, they were run in two parts in back to back days, similar to how they were reran in syndication. For example: I remember being on summer vacation from school(I was in high school at the time) in 2002 in Wyoming and Montana and watching one of the New SD Movies episodes with Batman and Robin guest starring in our motel room on back to back days on one of those Cable only WB stations(they still have them, but now they are CW instead of WB) as well as then WB affiliate out of Denver(the station is now a CW affiliate if I remember right).
