It was a great show overall. The show that got me into the SD fandom is always a favorite in my book! How ratings started slumping towards the end I'll never understand! They did? Well, that's quite a shame, Season 3 was pretty good.

I had almost forgotten about this series, to be honest. I don't remember it being in syndication a lot when I was younger but I do remember it and I enjoyed it. Classic Scooby is always a good Scooby, though I'm not entirely sure how much I appreciate Velma's VA change. (I'm sure I'll get used to it.) Finally acquired the 16 episodes of it that are considered to be the final season of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? Happily watching them right now!

I couldn't really remember any episodes of this series myself besides To Switch A Witch, but it definitely was on TV when I was younger. I think it was on less often though. I remember seeing a lot of A Pup Named Scooby Doo and New Movies compared to this one and Where Are You. I personally love Pat Stevens' take on Velma though. I can never decide which voice I like most between her, Jaffe, and Ward. I felt her performance worked for this specific series. She even gave me one of my favorite/most hilarious Velma moments in "The Headless Horseman Of Halloween"!

After spending some time with the DVDs last night and getting reacquainted with the show I'm getting used to Pat Stevens. Definitely not as much of a shock as it was last night, haha! She brings a slightly more mature sound to Velma; it's nice. As I watch more episodes, I find that I'm remembering the series more and more but that theme song! I remember the theme song and it was definitely on TV more than SDWAY. In fact, I barely remember SDWAY you being in syndication when I was younger at all. I remember being so excited when CN finally decided to start putting the original series back in circulation because that was a pretty rare occurrence to see it when I was younger. I'm glad that Boomerang has put it on their line-up before What's New. It definitely needs to be out there. Now if we could only get them to start showing The Scooby Doo Show, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo and 13 Ghosts again.

I still love it! I always wondered who Scooby-Dum was, I don't think I saw any episodes that included him when I was younger. I also vaguely remember the New Scooby and Scrappy Doo show theme song, but I certainly never saw New Mysteries or 13 Ghosts when I was young. I rmeeber CN was going to do a marathon and I wnated to watch it, but I missed it. Luckily I discovered it again in high school and it is now one of my favorite Scooby shows! The Scrappy shows were on to a much lesser extent than the others. I don't think I remembered anything about those shows, other than eatching plenty of Ghoul School. My cousin owned the VHS tape and I was always so jealous! I don't have cable anymore, but it always annoyed me that CN never had the original Scooby shows. I didn't have Boomerang either, so I could catch a few episodes through a free on-demand service.

I didn't have Boomerang either, so I could catch a few episodes through a free on-demand service. Boomerang didn't come in 'til later, unless you're talking about the little Boomerang segment on CN way back when, so it's not like now when, if a show is considered too old to be on CN, it's aired on Boomerang. We didn't always have a savior for these kinds of issues, haha. That's funny because I actually remember catching 13 Ghosts a couple of times on CN...or maybe it was Boomerang - (I was around ten or eleven when the actual channel was implemented so it could have been then.) - but when there's only 13 episodes it's hard to have the show running in syndication for a long period of time. And you know I was surprised to hear of a season 3 of SDWAY when I began collecting the original series because I never remembered it; imagine my surprise when it's episodes from The Scooby-Doo Show, haha. Funnily enough I don't remember Scooby-Dum from a strictly Scooby-Doo series, I only remember him from the Laff-A-Lympics specials.

The Scooby-Doo Show would of made more since if they had it under part of Scooby-Doo Where Are You since it carried the same format. The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show/The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries should of been title The Scooby-Doo Show. Hannah Barbera didn't make the shows make since when they kept changing the tiles.

Love the series! I think this series has a higher concentration of classic, memorable episodes than any other (yes, including the original Where Are You!). How ratings started slumping towards the end I'll never understand! Well Scooby Doo was a formulaic show, as much as I do enjoy it. With few exceptions, pretty much every episode had a similar-like premise, the only difference being that the monster was a different design, and the setting was often different. Of course kids are gonna get tired of it sooner or later. That's just what happens to most shows that run that long.

I like this one. I think out of all of The Scooby Doo cartoons, The Scooby Doo Show had the best monster designs bar none. Growing up, I even thought they were much cooler and distinct then the monsters from Where Are You?. Not that I'm trying to bash Where Are You or anything, I'm just saying.

I just finished my reviews for every episode, so here is my review for the series in general.
Things i liked: -Let's start with the intro. I love TSDS intro quite a lot. It is so nostalgic for me. -There are some of the most iconic episodes of the franchise here. And some of the most iconic monsters, too! -I loved all these different settings. The gang truly traveled all over the world in the series. -The humor was mostly amazing. Also, the running gag of Shaggy and Scooby being bribed with snacks to be baits for the monster is iconic. -The detective work by the gang was amazing and, for the first time, so developed. There were suspects, there were clues, and most of the time, the obvious one wasn't the culprit. -Finally, the nostalgia. This was the first show I watched, and along with WNSD, it was the one I watched the most. These are the personalities and traits of the gang I'm used to. The splitting for clues, the complex traps that almost always didn't work, and stuff like that in general.
Things i didn't like:
Not much. Okay, there were some episodes with bad animation, and season 3 is easily the weakest, but these are small things.
Overall, I love the Scooby Doo show. It may be my favorite series and the one I rewatch the most, along with WNSD. 10/10
