If you hate Get A Clue, what was your least favorite thing about the show?

I didn't mind Get A Clue too much, but I haven't seen a lot of the episodes, so I can't really give a reason.

I haven't seen any of them yet but I don't care much for the animation style in the stills. If the stories were good though I could get over it.

The worst thing is the "mean little beady eyes" on Scooby and Shaggy, as one critic called them.

Exactly. And not only that, Shaggy had a horrible voice actor (Scott Menville, the voice of Red Herring from APNSD), they often went out of character, the animation was awful, not to mention that annoying butler Robi. I hated how he always had to call Scooby as "Rooby Roo" (though there were a couple minor exceptions), and he was really idiotic and bumbling, and then his random safety tips, as if he were Inspector Gadget or a G.I. Joe member! I can see it now... ROBI: Don't stand under trees during a thunderstorm! SHAGGY: Like, now we know! ROBI: And knowing is half the battle. This was pretty much the "Loonatics: Unleashed" of the Scooby-Doo franchise. In fact, I remember the day it premiered, I didn't like the first episode a lot, so that same day I went and rented "Scooby-Doo: Pirates Ahoy," which was a breath of fresh air.

I hated the animation style! I didn't like the voices! It was annoying that most of the gang was left out of the show, besides a couple of episodes. The Mystery Machine was made to be more like a transformer and less like the Mystery Machine we know. I couldn't stand the theme song. I haven't seen it in a while, so I can't really elaborate any more than that!

A reason for the dislike (I am hesitant to use "hate") could be that producer Eric Radomski stated he was never a great Scooby fan but he still wanted to take the series in a left-field direction. He was in left field, all right...he was at the warning track with it. Shaggy & Scooby Doo Get A Clue was just hopelessly dishonest with the characters. And yes, Scott Menville's voice and the opening theme were minuses.
If there was anything telling about the humor, it was in the opening episode. Dr. Phibes' two henchmen are at Shaggy's mansion trying to get in the door, and one of the henchmen says "On the count of three, let's break it down." At the count of three, the other henchman starts to bust a move like MC Hammer. With enemies like these, who needs heroes?

No one that actually liked Scooby would have done that! Get a Clue is no where near any of the other series!

Mainly the vocies the animation style could have grown on me if I didn't cringe at every word. The rest of the gang wasn't around. The theme song was terrible. And Shaggy being rich though me off for some reason.
I haven't seen much of the show mainly becaue I can't sit still and watch it, but I've seen enough to know that I don't like it.

Loonatics Unleashed had an interesting idea, and at least had some possibilities, considering that some old LT skits had the characters as superheros. But Scooby Doo? it just doesn't fit. if you wanted to take it in a new direction why not add a girl dog to the gang and have her date Scooby, and break out of the Shaggy-Scooby comfort zone. but yeah theres left field and then theres 5 decks up in the nose bleeds in left field, Get a clue was the later imo

I didn`t mind that show to be honest. *hides* I mean, its not like something like this hasnt been done in scooby-doo history before. 13 ghosts, the new scooby-doo mysteries(i love the intro to that series LOL). I`m for sure not a huge fan of get a clue and I certainly hope they dont do something with that animation style ever again lol. I don`t know Okay, maybe comparing it to 13 ghosts and TNSDM is not all that accurate lol, but still

I think it was a derailment of Shaggy to make him totally irresponsible. Look at him at the start of the series: no job, no money, no food in the house, and worst of all no awareness that he didn't have any more food until he went looking. That's seriously messed up.
Once he was saved by an undeserved fortune he threw money around without any consideration -- like blasting the wall and home of his neighbor with high-powered speakers and setting his trees on fire with a turbo barbeque. This goes beyond the likeable, easy-going Shaggy of the old series into an outright jerk of a protagonist.
