Even though the first I watched was Witch's Ghost as a kid, I grew up to love Zombie Island for its well-thought plot and twsits, the wonderful and mysterious setting and the scary villains.

My favorite of those four is Cyber Chase. I enjoy the end level of Cyber Chase a lot.

I had watched Zombie Island as a kid and I'm certain that if I re-watch it now I'll fall in love again with this well-planned fright. However, since I'm in deilimma with the Witch's Ghost which was also pretty awesome and had the Hex girls and songs I love...and since I don't want to be the one to spoil my favorite number 13 of the votes of Zombie Island currently...I voted WG. ;P

1. Zombie Island-Others have described how amazing this movie is far better than I can 2. Alien Invaders- Just a hair between this and #3 but this has become my go-to for an easy watch for a Scooby movie. I'd say it's objectively a lesser movie than Witch's Ghost but it is just such a fun watch 3. Witch's Ghost- Such a great movie. The colonial town feel is top notch 4. Cyber Chase- My favorite as a kid, and still excellent, but it just isn't as good as the other 3 to me now

Alien Invaders. I'm trying to think of a way to explain why, and I couldn't tell you... I like aliens, I like Crystal and Amber, I like the setting, I like the gang interactions, I like the outfits. The list goes on and on.

The list goes on and on. Part of me wanted to pick Alien Invaders as my number one because of everything you said, but then I watch Zombie Island and it's just the small things in that movie that mean so much to me. One of the biggest ones for me that's not really mentioned that is just the score when they are driving around before they get to the island. It just hits me hard. I get why newer Scooby Doo fans may not see the hype, but for those of us that were around when this was around (I actually wasn't born yet when it came out but it was still part of my generation of Scooby fans in a big way) Zombie Island just means everything

It's a great movie, and it marked the return of Scooby Doo to a mainstream audience. It's historic.

Yeah, I've just been going through some of these old and new movie threads and I've seen more than a few people just say they don't get the big deal in different threads, but even then, it is just an absolute masterpiece of an animated film in my opinion

I love Zombie Island!! It had a very well thought out plot. And explored gray areas morally rather than just black and white. You felt bad for Simone and Lena while still acknowledging they were horrible people. And the zombies were not only real, but good guys for a change. The humor was top notch. And the animation was incredible. A classic for sure. I’d put witch’s ghosts right behind it

It’s hard to choose between these four movies, but I’ll go with Zombie Island. These were the first movies I saw as a kid and even though they were scary for me as a kid, they made me fall in love with Scooby-Doo. Growing up I realised that these movies, as said before, were the movies that launched Scooby back into the mainstream world. Every time I watch Zombie Island I Fall in love over and over again with this movie, but also get a bit of nostalgia knowing WB is never going to release such a movie in the future. What I really like about this movie is the interaction between the gang( being a fraphne shipper I also liked the interaction between Fred and Daphne and it wasn’t so repetitive like nowadays WB portrays them). The aesthetics and background were unique and more beautiful than the settings of the new movies. I even fall in love with Louisiana after the movie and I was happy to find out that Moonscar Island was inspired by Avery Island in Louisiana where Tabasco is produced. Definitely a place on my bucket list. In my opinion the only great movies outside these four would be the early 2010s movies( like Abracadabradoo or Camp Scare) they were refreshing after years, more mature and dark. Somehow WB didn’t go this way and since then I have the feeling that the franchise is slowly dying. But it’s just my opinion.

#4 - Cyber Chase It is super nostalgic to me and was the first DVD I remember getting but there's no denying it's a pretty noticeable step down from the previous 3. It deviates pretty hard from what came before, both in tone and art style but I still enjoy it upon rewatch though and the final half hour is pretty superb!
#3 - Alien Invaders I love this one. My all time 3rd favourite Scooby-Doo movie and just a feel good summer tradition for me. The mystery is pretty thin and the twist at the end isn't quite as jaw dropping as the 2 previous movies but it's a great little film. Shaggy's storyline is the beating heart of this adventur! + beautiful Roswell Vista's.
#2 - Witch's Ghost I really wanted to put this at #1 as it's probably the cosiest watch for me. I can stick it on any time of the year and have a blast with it. It's the perfect blend of 60's era conventional mystery solving and the dark plot reversal that it's predecessor introduced. First 40 mins feel like an excellent TV episode and then the last act catapults it onto a whole new level! + beautiful Salem vista's.
#1 - Zombie Island It had to be this. The greatest piece of Scooby media of all time, in my eyes. I still remember how much it terrified me back when I first watched it and it's honestly aged like fine wine, ever since. Just about every Scooby trope we love is here and yet it subverts all expectations. No one is who they make out to be and the plot is undoubtedly the darkest we're ever likely to witness! This films impact never fades.
