I think it was on purpose and was suppose to be funny. I think it was the reporter's mistake, not the writers'. I hadn't thought about it like that. I miss those old Scooby commercials (like the one where Fred basically cursed out the audience about his ascot, What's New Scooby gang found Fred ascot and that flashback, Mystery Machine vs Mega XrL) wish the new cartoon network did something like this.

I liked the one from the 2000 DTV movies.

Besides the original, I like the one from the DTV movies too!

I'd say the DTV Mystery Machine is second to the Mystery Incorporated van.

What's New Scooby gang found Fred ascot and that flashback I can't think of what your talking about there freddaphne29758. It was an earlier What's New Scooby-Doo promos where the gang finds Fred's ascot and Fred has a flashback where the teenagers making fun of his ascot and Fred basically denied it was his ascot. Looks like the 2000 dtv is pretty much everyone's favorite Mystery Machine. It is one of the better redesigns of the Mystery Machine(honestly for me it's the TV movie/Myster Begins/Curse of the Lake Monster Mystery Machine because it was a combo of the classic and more modern Mystery Machine designs but that's just my opinion).

I really liked the Get a Clue van. Very handy when my Mum has to avoid all that morning traffic when she drives us to school!

I prefer the 80's Mystery Machine, but the one from the first four DTV movies is a close second. I don't like the CGI Mystery Machine from Mystery Incorporated.

That's definitely something to be proud of! If you are ever in Southern Illinois, we can go for a ride.

I don't know if it counts, but there's also the Mystery Flying Machine! I thinks it's awesome that Shaggy and Daphne owned a plane.

That's definitely something to be proud of! If you are ever in Southern Illinois, we can go for a ride. Unfortunately, I leave in Greece. "Unfortunately" in the sense that I can't see your van. Other than that, it's a great country, with a very interesting history! But when I grow up, I intend to travel to the US, so I might see your van driving down the street!

OK...So... I would choose the Mystery Machine used in the Mystery Incorporated series. Not only the outlook of it; but also the use of it, all the installed super duper weapons and traps in it!!!
