I remember back in the day when MTV played videos. And then they stopped and created MTV2 for the videos, and now MTV2 doesn't even play vidoes. How do you have Music Television with no music? Or Cartoon Network with no cartoons? It just isn't right!

Yeah, Boo Boo does look a little creepy. Kinda reminds me of the Burger King guy in the costume in those new commercials for some reason.
Actually they kinda look like those theme park characters that walk around the rides patting kids on the head.

So I'm wondering, was "Back In Action" maybe the original series title for the upcoming "Mystery Inc."?

Yogi doesn't even look like Yogi. They are creepy. I really think they need to back off with all the CGI and remaking everything that was popular 30 - 40 years ago.

At one time last summer they were talking about making a CGI version of Hong Kong Phooey too. Haven't found anything recent though, so not sure if it was cancelled or not.

Doing something like Scooby-Doo in CGI isn't quite as odd looking I guess, because he was still a fairly ordinary looking dog even in the cartoons. So a CGI of him doesn't look quite as out of place next to the real-life actors.
But with animals that walked, talked and wore clothes in the originals, it's a lot harder to be convincing alongside real actors.

I think "Back in Action" might have came from "Luney Tunes: Back in Action", the 2003 movie. Scooby and Shaggy were in a scene of the movie.
