What's New Scooby Doo, just awesome. Like Scooby Doo Where Are You? too, because that was the one on all the Scooby games which form my childhood memories

I like the new on for SD:MI quite a bit really. No words but I find myself humming the melody after hearing it.

Yeah, I kind of like the SD:MI theme song also. It's not my favorite one, but it is good.

I like the new on for SD:MI quite a bit really. No words but I find myself humming the melody after hearing it. Mark Spot on, ahkyahnan. To me, there's no comparison. SD:MI is a cut way above the others, with a mature, "modern spookiness" sound, as well as a "mystery solving" sound. I, too, hum to myself the song on occasion. It's very catchy.

I like the SD:MI theme it is catchy. Kind of wish there was words, but I'm not sure how they would pull that off. It goes perfectly with the intro!

And the closing theme, not heard on CN, is pretty cool-sounding as well. Very spooky and mysterious!

Wow, that's really a really cool find. I've never seen that one before.
You know this may sound crazy, but knowing that the SD:MI group went back to original source material, I wonder if this was an influence for using an instrumental theme for the new show? The SD:MI theme song actually has certain similarities to the main melody of this one. Not the same exactly, but may use some of the same notes in a different pattern. I'll have to listen more.
Actually, played as fast as it above (compared to when the same melody was used throughout the original series), that old theme sounds a little like that of The Munsters.

Nice find gemstone!! I haven't seen that before either. I'm still partial to the version with words, but I could see where ahkyahnan said that they could have gotten their inspiration for the new series opening from this.

Its a tie between Whats New Scooby-Doo? and 13 Ghosts, both of those are my favorites, just love them. The new series has a good one too, down side no words but my third favorite maybe.

I'm probably very biased when it comes to this, but I just LOVE the "New Scooby Doo Movies" theme! It's so nostalgic and fun! The "Where Are You" themes also have a special place in my heart. All of the Hanna-Barbera themes were entertaining, who could forget the one from "The New Scooby Doo Mysteries"?! "What's New" fails to catch my interest, it was better when performed by the Hex Girls. "Mystery Incorporated" is okay, given the show's approach to the franchise.
