It turns out all of the Scrappy series, except for "The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries" and "13 Ghosts", are available for purchase. I was really hoping to get some good quality episodes of "New Mysteries", to be quite honest.

Has an English-dubbed version aired in the U.S. yet?

"The Secret of Shark Island" was my most favorite episode in the series.
I also like the one with the Harlem Globetrotters as guests, which involve a lake.

So that means both members of the Ruby-Spears Productions team are gone now, and both in 2020. I originally thought of them as being strictly associated with Ruby-Spears Productions, and not Hanna-Barbera, until I joined a Facebook group and these boards.
They did awesome work in creating Scooby-Doo and other characters in the Hanna-Barbera universe, as well as produce Ruby-Spears cartoons, of which I like "Mister T", the "Punky Brewster" cartoon spinoff, and "Rubik the Amazing Cube". I would have watched "Rubik" if not for certain blue creatures on another network.

I saw the news on Facebook earlier this evening. It turns out that one half of the Ruby-Spears team is no longer with us.
Ruby, along with Ken Spears, also created "Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels" and several other Hanna-Barbera programs.
Among the Ruby-Spears productions, "Mister T" and the "Punky Brewster" cartoon are my all-time favorites.
Sad loss in the world of cartoons.

This is definitely worthy of downloading for sure! Now if only we can get the official soundtracks for "Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels", "Richie Rich", "Shirt Tales", "The Gary Coleman Show" and 1980s Scooby series before "13 Ghosts"..

I am also thinking there should be transcripts of episodes from "The Scooby-Doo Show" and even Seasons 1 and 4 of "Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo", "The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show" and "The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries".

I like keeping the gang status quo, but I would have no issues with Daphne wearing a dress with a knee-length skirt instead of her traditional purple sweater dress. Daphne is my favorite character in the gang of meddling kids, but I am not an overly big fan of her wardrobe, as it is too 1960s.
Speaking of fashion, I think personally, knee-length dresses and skirts were commonplace in the 1980s, and they were quite popular in the 1940s and 1950s, at least among adult females. It's like some of the fashion trends from the 1940s and early 1950s made a comeback for a few years in the 1980s, but may have started to fall out of favor by 1987 when fashion was starting to become more "hip". In fact, "hip" was a new trend by 1987 (and the opening of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" cartoon series in syndication had a line "We're really hip" as April O'Neil showed her face while driving her van, proves it). Why did knee-length skirts and dresses fall out of favor by the transition into the 1990s? I, myself, am not a huge fan of today's overly revealing outfits, especially the skimpy dresses and skirts. At least Daphne still wears her traditional pink pantyhose on the newer cartoons.

I wonder why the chase music was never used for the entire series, let alone just Season 2. I think the use of psychedelic music was commonplace during the transition into the 1970s. "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids" did have a musical number every episode when it originally aired. "The Jackson 5ive" cartoon series involved usage of the boy band's big hits in all of its episodes. And don't forget "The Archie Show". I wouldn't be shocked if "Josie and the Pussycats" had a musical number in many of their episodes. Of course, that trend would fizzle out - once disco took over.
All in all, I think the use of a song as chase music in Season 2 of "Scooby Doo Where Are You!" was likely a ploy to reboost the show's ratings. It worked, and the outcome was the hour-long series "The New Scooby-Doo Movies", extending Scooby's run on CBS by two years.

Still no word on the US air date? Dang. I think everything in terms of new episodes is on the backburner due to the COVID-19 saga. Not limited to Cartoon Network and Amazon, but other TV networks too. It wouldn't be right to launch new episodes during such a difficult time. I can see Season 2 being put on hold until July or August, at this point.
Some current seasons of other series may be cut short because of this too, or they may end up recording the remainder of the season later in the summer, and air them in September or maybe late August.

I wouldn't be shocked if there were to be no Scooby comics published in May and July, the way the pattern is going. I think it's pretty evident that the series is now a bi-monthly publication. Either way, I still believe that the comic book industry is evidently falling into decline, and it is hard to say if DC Comics will be around in five, maybe ten years' time.

I am very much interested in taking part in Scooby-Doo role play. But, I'd like to ask, what characters are available?

Mr. Bean (the actor, not the character played by Rowan Atkinson) also appeared as a game show panelist during the 1970s and 1980s. He made some appearances on "Match Game" during the 1970s. He was considered for hosting the "Concentration" revival (and even hosted a 1985 pilot), but lost to Alex Trebek and the revival was titled "Classic Concentration".
Was Orson involved in any Scooby-Doo episodes, and if so, in what episode(s) did he appear?
I wonder if Mr. Bean (the actor, not the British character) was developing Alzheimer's disease, and he was struck by a car because his memory was pretty weak and wasn't aware of his surroundings?
Still, sad loss in the world of entertainment.

I know that my personal Scooby gang would involve the following, assuming they are in a warmer climate:
- Daphne would wear a dress with a knee-length skirt, or a sweater or short-sleeved blouse with a knee-length skirt, and wearing flip-flops. - Shaggy would no longer wear his traditional baggy pants and green shirt, but instead he would look more radical, like wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and wearing sneakers, and using a skateboard.
As for Fred and Velma, I don't have anything in mind.

I wonder if the overseas production was likely a cost-cutting measure?
As for "The Headless Horseman of Halloween", I am surprised it originally aired on ABC several weeks before Halloween. I mean, traditionally, they aired holiday-themed episodes of H-B series closer to the holiday. In "The Little Rascals" animated spinoff series, "Fright Night" was Halloween-themed, and it aired the weekend before Halloween in 1983. "Darla's Dream Dance" supposedly had a Valentine's Day theme, and although it initially aired on November 13, 1982, it was strategically slotted so that it would be rebroadcast on February 12, 1983, the Saturday before Valentine's Day.
