It doesn't count as being long term! But I'll leave it up to you if you think it should count.

My son read "Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders" to me the other day, and Crystal and Amber really annoyed me. The book focused on Shaggy and Scooby's obsession with them, and it really bothered me. I don't think Scooby and Shaggy should have girlfriends ever again! Or love interests for that matter.

Totally! I hope they don't make that mistake again. Scooby and Shaggy just need each other, they don't need girls!

Hi. I'm new on this board, but am also on another forum (shagscoobdoo). If I may join in the convo...? Now, there are a few pointys that I would like to make. First, in Reluctant Werewolf, there's a scene where Shag orders a hotdog, hold the onions, cause he's on a date. I don't think that he would do that unless he was kind of serious w/Googy (didn't really like her, but just sayin, of course). Also, has anyone remembered Mary Jane from the live-action movie? Technically, she WAS a crush, like Crystal was (ugh, I don't like her AT ALL, but only because she left and broke poor Shag's heart ) Well, now that I have posted my two cents, let me just say: Nice to meet you guys (and reaquaint myself with old ones )!

Hi wolfy! Welcome to the board! I only saw the first live action movie, though I own them both, but I don't remember Mary Jane. I do remember the Reluctant Werewolf, and I still think Shag and Scoob should not be dating. Though it was nice if him to hold the onions for Googy LOL!
