Well, with my favorite holiday of the year approaching, I thought I'd start working on one costume choice I will have for this season (I will be doing more than one event in honor of the season.) I have decided to work on a new and improved version of my Scooby-Doo costume! I initially started it back in 2005 when I purchased one of those deluxe hooded Scooby-Doo costumes made by Rubies for Halloween 2005 (sadly it looks like the quality of the costumes being sold currently has declined). I liked it a lot, and kept in because it was really neat, and I may want to use it or modify it again some year. (For the past few years after that, I was a werewolf, Wile E. Coyote, Fozzie Bear, and the Big Bad Wolf from Disney's "Three Little Pigs".) For this year, I decided to modify my old Scooby-Doo costume for THIS Halloween! I removed the hood from the suit (but saved it if I want to make it a separate headpiece,) kept the dog collar on the suit collar, and used my rubber Scooby-Doo mask made by scooby754 for the head (touching that up a tiny bit so it fits with the costume too.) Here's some pics on what I've got so far... So far I really like it! It actually kinda reminds me of the Scooby-Doo costume the Chameleon wore in the "All-New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo" episode "Scooby's Gold Medal Gambit." Now I just need to perfect my Scooby-Doo voice and laugh, so when I wear this while passing out candy on Halloween night, the kids will believe I'm the real Scooby-Doo! ;D Any comments?
