The Scooby-Doo Krypto movie has supposedly leaked online. Someone posted it on their Google Drive account. Very weird timing! Yeah, the full movie was leaked online and the leak is legitimate. I am thinking maybe somebody at WB finally had enough with all the cancellations and the Mystery Pups news was the last straw for them, so they leaked it. Here's hoping they leak Holiday Haunt (which is complete) and the script for Haunted High Rise, along with the Hex Girls songs.

The Scooby-Doo Krypto movie has supposedly leaked online. Someone posted it on their Google Drive account. Very weird timing! Yep, I downloaded it as well. But yeah, even Scooby-Doo himself has had enough of that fiend David Zaslav's tax write-offs and change of plans relating to Warner Bros. Animation and HBO Max!

I will say that WB took out a TON OF TRADEMARKS FOR MERCH if they really were to scrap Pups. They're holding onto that one, imo. Look up the recent trademarks for "Scooby" and there's a whole list of Pups ones. Meanwhile, Velma had only ONE from what I remember.

I'm not saying The Zas couldn't cancel it, but...
Everything from shoes to snacks. I'm estimating around $5k in trademarking fees alone. I suppose that's nothing compared to saving tens of thousands in taxes, but idk... this gives me a little hope that something is still planned.

Velma only seems to have this one, though it's surprisingly encompassing. I'm unsure of why they needed 9 for Pups.

I found what may be the original leak. It's the same quality of the ones posted around and happened on 03/04/23 (Sat) 07:43:50.
Is there an earlier leak than this?

Apparently "Zaslav" is now a verb, as in "Zaslav'd" lmao. He's definitely earned it.
"What happened to that film?"
"Oh, it got Zaslav'd".

On a side note, if Velma is moving over to TubiTV, maybe Pups will go there too? What was the announcement about Pups? If it gets pulled from Cartoonito, it could still be put on a free service, which would only help with exposure.

"The Zas" lol. The merch gives me hope they'll still market it, but yesterday was probably one of the craziest days in franchise history between Mystery Pups losing the distribution rights on HBO Max and the entire Krypto Too film leaking on the same day, so honestly I have no idea what's going to happen. I agree with you it would be very silly if they just dumped all the money they spent on the merch and trademarks though. I found what may be the original leak. Yeah, that's the original leak I believe. What was the announcement about Pups? The announcement about Pups was just that it lost its distribution rights from HBO Max and it will no longer air on HBO Max. Nothing was said about Cartoonito, but Roger Eschbacher said in his tweet announcing it that it would need to be "shopped around" to other networks so I assume that means it's not airing on Cartoonito either.

Thanks, Doo! This was a lot of Scooby news to catch up on. This morning was filled with confusion on my part. I think Tubi is going to be able to pick up the slack for various Scooby projects. We'll see.

Update on the leak. If this link isn't appropriate here, please let me know. No information on illegal filesharing is share in the article itself. torrentfreak.com/warner-fights-unreleased-scooby-doo-and-krypto-too-leaks-230306/1.3 gigs was the original leak and this claims that a larger 2.6 gig ones appeared, though I believe this to be an AI upscale given the time frame and direct doubling of the original file size. I'm not 100% sure though.

I'm reading about people creating 2x AI upscaled of it so I'm assuming that's what the double file size one is. There's also speculation that Warner did this on purpose in compressed 720p just to test the waters, which sorta fits with the delayed takedowns but I'm not exactly convinced. It makes me worried for Archive org, which is not a pirating service in-of itself. It's had various lawsuits recently and is the only good archiving service for webpages. This event certainly is interesting.

This event certainly is interesting. I remember finding a bunch of Universal horror movies on there years ago. Someone was pointing out that this could get the site in legal trouble and being shouted down. They've always been a defacto piracy website even if that's not the intended purpose.

There's also speculation that Warner did this on purpose in compressed 720p just to test the waters, which sorta fits with the delayed takedowns. The day after it came out, they were issuing takedowns of YouTube vidoes that even reported a leak happened without showing images. This theory is obviously idiotic. More likely, they weren't expecting an obscure Scooby dtv film to leak and were caught off guard

I didn't realize that they were issuing takedowns the day of. The theory was hopeful and I should know better with the way things are right now.
