Seems to be official. An Australian DVD site lists it too, with the following description: Mystery Inc. has cracked the case to top all cases! They've tracked down Coco Diablo, the head of the notorious costume crime syndicate that colludes The Black Knight, Space Kook and the Ghost Diver. With Coco and her kitty in prison, Mystery Inc. thinks that they can finally enjoy a break. Wrong! Suddenly, menacing doppelganger ghosts of the Scooby crew and favorite classic foes show up in Coolsville to threaten Halloween. Now it's up to the meddling kids - and their unlikely new partner Coco - to unmask the latest scoundrel and save Halloween! For Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, with trick-or-treating on the line - this time it's personal!www.dvdland.com.au/products/Trick-Or-Treat-Scooby%252dDoo.htmlI also saw it listed on Snipple Animation and Advantage Audio's websites. And the plot sounds so much fun! I love Halloween and when Scooby-Doo or anyone else from Mystery Inc. gets impersonated. I wonder if maybe I should dress up as Scooby-Doo for Halloween this year? (I know I'm also already planning to get "grandma's clothing" for my Zak Wolf fursuit to wear for Halloween.)

Minor news but Evan Eley did background paintings for this- www.evaneley.com/resumeIt's pretty much the only resume I found online where the project is listed, might be because it hasn't been officially announced yet.

Here's the trailer for the film. Doesn't give a date, though.

Emmm, well, that's a thing. Really don't know what to make of that, some of that animation looked really rough.

Whoo boy, where do I start? This movie looks like it'll be a lot of fun. What's interesting is how they're going with the "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who" art style, but that's probably because of Snipple Animation doing the overseas animation instead of Digital eMation (as all the movies since "Abracadabra-Doo" have), and so it's done in the same bouncy cartoonish style as the episodes of "Guess Who" they worked on (compared to the Digital eMation's stiffer limited animation on the same series). Seeing Scooby and Shaggy trick-or-treating dressed as each other also reminds me of when they also did so in "A Scooby-Doo Halloween" 19 years ago, and there was also Shaggy wearing a rubber Scooby-Doo mask in "Never Ape an Ape Man." (And don't get me started on Shaggy's cross-dressing as Daphne!) But in this case, the costume Shaggy wears looks so much like the real "Zipster" Scooby costume made by Party City. I have one, but I removed the hood so I could wear a Scooby mask with it (like the one from "Ape Man"), and also wear rudimentary dog paws with it. (Maybe I'll get or make better paw gloves to wear with the costume.) The ghost/zombie dopplegangers of Mystery Inc. give me a "Grim Grinning Ghosts"/Haunted Mansion vibe. Interesting how "Scooby" is a floating living dog skeleton; I wonder how the crooks are pulling it off (that is, if it's all a hoax). It'll also be really fun to learn the back history of some of the villains' costumes. (I enjoyed back when DC Comics's Scooby-Doo issue #9 did so as well.) But why is Sarah Jenkins in jail? She didn't exactly commit a crime in the episode she appeared in, and redeemed herself afterward. The bald guy also looks familiar... could it be Carl the Stuntman? Either way, I'm sure looking forward to this one, and it looks like it'll indeed be better than "Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo!"

Looks godawful but of course I will watch it and try to enjoy it. Tho I will miss the last animation, my favorite of the whole franchise. So sad Yeah; I usually picture my Scooby-Doo fanfics visually resembling the 2010-2021 direct-to-video movies, except the gang would often do their stock poses and walk/run cycles of the 1969-1980 shows. They'd also have the voice cast of "Mystery Incorporated" and the 2010-2015 direct-to-video movies, combined with the classic Hoyt Curtin and Ted Nichols 1969-1972 music tracks. But it'll be interesting to see this, given that Snipple's work on "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who" was noticeably more fluid and bouncy than the animation by Digital eMation on the same series (along with NE4U and Yeson in the first season).
