Looks pretty fun from what we've seen. I'm not that suprised though given i think in reality Courage the Cowardly Dog always was the most popular of the Cartoon Cartoons. He's the only one that managed sales enough to stay in stores for single volumes and a complete set. We all know WB milks the heck out of releasing the same Scooby, Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes over and over. There's a reason why there's no separate Powerpuff girl season sets for example.
One thing i'd also like to point out, the only mention of Cartoon Network there is in the legal crawl. Freeze at the end, it's carrying a WB Logo and a Hanna Barbera logo. No CN logo. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

We talk about it on the panel. It’s crazy that it’s finally happening. People have been talking about this for a long time! youtu.be/BOtBCo0ExZg

I really hope one of the special features is the Scare-A-Thon 19-minute crossover from 2000. I know it won't be, but I can still hope.
Other than that, this looks good. I can't wait for Velma to somehow mess it all up with her annoying skepticism. And while the trailer implies the stuff in Nowhere is real, so did Sword and the Scoob with the time travel, so I'm taking nothing for granted with this franchise and its sudden hatred of the paranormal.

Hopefully they won't use Velma to confirm that fan theory that all the creepy stuff happening in Nowhere is only Courage's imagination.

I’m not sure why some fans think it has to be so black and white. For all we know Katz, Le’Quack, Chef Gerbil or the plethora of non mythical Courage villains can be behind the mask. This won’t debunk Nowhere’s paranormal activities while respecting classic Scooby at the same time. Also why is it a problem for it to be fake when 95% of Scooby is fake monsters? Also SCOOB a theatrical movie had a real monster that came from a literal hell. Why do fans completely ignore that? That’s why I never get when they complain that real monsters never happen when it happened last year. Even Guess Who had a real ghost in the Funky Phantom episode. I’m not trying to be rude but it confuses me when fans have selective memory of certain things. Scooby Doo is mostly about fake monsters anyways. Let’s just stay positive and enjoy the ride.

That’s what I would have liked to have to but Warner Bros. is a literal joke with special features release. According to SyFy: The home release includes three bonus episodes: "Decoy for a Dognapper" (Scooby Doo, Where Are You!), "The Gruesome Game of the Gator Ghoul" (The Scooby Doo/Dynomutt Hour), and "Chiller Diller Movie Thriller" (The Scooby Doo/Dynomutt Hour). Like, not even the friggin cicada monster SDMI episode. You gotta be kidding me. Bothers me so much

I think it’s odd they are going with cicadas again. I hope they are just part of the story and not that it will be like the episode When the Cicada Calls.

Yeah thank you I here people complain about recent scooby doo movies having fake monsters even in ones that are not sequels to anything supernatural or ones that don't have to have real monsters in them and even then just having fake monsters in a scooby doo film doesn't automatically retcon anything also why do people care what velma thinks as I recall in return to zombie the rest of the gang didn't beileve her and in curse of the thirrteenth ghost she was going to open the chest of demons and the gang convinced her not to if the gang don't believe her why should everyone else get so worked up over it.If I come off as a jerk I'm sorry but I'm just tired of this.

I’m happy I’m not the only one that feels this way. It just almost feels like fake outrage to me. I completely understand if the sequel movies weren’t there thing…I totally get that. But this false narrative that it retconned the real monsters is absolutely false. In both movies it’s blatantly obvious that Velma is being delusional. No one believes her. Yet people take her word for the 100% truth. When I tell people that it’s like talking to brick wall and they will continue saying, “omg they retconned the fake monsters!” despite proof showing otherwise. It just proves that society sometimes has this herd like mentality and will just go along with whatever is being said without looking at the proof. Then there’s the complaint that Scooby never has real monsters when SCOOB that came out last year did. But people like to conveniently forget that and just act outraged for no reason. Heck Guess Who has an episode with a real ghost (The Funky Phantom). And where is this sudden hatred of fake monsters when 95% of Scooby is fake monsters? What makes Scooby iconic and reassuring for kids is that there always a logical explanation. If they want real monsters just watch the 80’s movies, 13 Ghost, Goblin King, Samurai Sword, and the first 3 90’s movies. The whole point of Scooby is having fake monsters when real monsters are used too much it misses the whole point in my opinion. I personally prefer fake monsters because that’s what Scooby is truly about. The only thing I would improve is the writing a bit. But if they make excellently written movies like Camp Scare, Stage Fright, and Abracadabra which are excellent movies with the classic fake monster I see no issue.

Honestly I thought I was the only one until I saw your post but yeah fake monsters is a big part of the franchise using real monsters occasionlly is fine but using them all the time I feel like that scooby doo would turn in to something generic when you think of fake monsters and unmaskings you think of scooby doo but when you think of real monsters you think of something else.

One of the most culturally insensitive and historically inaccurate episodes out there? (Geronimo being from 1000 years ago? Really?) A swamp episode? In a savannah/prairie? The special features should've been a classic Scooby episode involving insects, like "The Creepy Creature of Vulture's Claw" or "When the Cicada Calls", a classic Courage episode like the iconic "King Ramses' Curse" or the even more iconic "The Mask", and then finishing it off with the Scare-A-Thon crossover.

I can't link directly to it, so a screenshot will have to do for now, but the iTunes store page for the movie also lists more cast members like Jeff Bennett, Chuck Montgomery... and Paul Schoeffler, who voiced several characters on Courage the Cowardly Dog including Katz, Le Quack, Doctor Vindaloo and Courage's computer.

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer but I'm a bit disappointed. I honestly can't put my finger on what it is that I don't like about the trailer but hopefully there will be another trailer that goes more into what the movie is about. This seemed like just a compilation of Scooby, Shaggy and Courage screaming.
I am curious though if this will be bad-guy-in-mask style or real monsters-no-mystery-to-solve style. I personally think the latter would work best with the fact that it happens in Nowhere where crazy things happen without real explanation but I got the bad-guy-in-mask feel from the fly, who seems to be the "main" bad guy.

Calling it now: villain is either Eustace or Katz in a mask.
Here's hoping it isn't another "prove Velma is right about ghosts never being real" vehicle.
We've QUITE ENOUGH of those!!!
