Don't know about anyone else, but this is by far one of my favorite games to play on the PS2. Got it the day it was released, sneered at the reviews, and lost count of how many times I've replayed it. I'm not a massive gamer by any means, but I thought this game rocked in every dept.. Great graphics, controls and music. 20 classic villans, 30 levels, and the entire time, you're playing as our main man, (or mutt), Scooby. I thought they did a darn fine job of capturing the look, feel and sound of the original 2 seasons of the show. I forgot to mention the voice acting as well: Tim Curry, I believe Scott Innes, and Don Knotts as the wisecracking care-taker. If you've played it, I'd like to hear what you thought, if you haven't, it's a greatest hit now, which makes it available for a cool 20 bucks! Like, Wow!

I like the game, but haven't had a lot of time to play it. My kids have tried to play it, but they get frustrated with it. It's kewl that it's a greatest hits now.

Yeah, there's one level in there that I do dread, and that would be the level where you bounce on the ship's sails, and the camera can be a bit uncooperative from time to time, so, I can see where kids can wind up frustrated. On a side note, as a game guide was never made for this title, if you go to gamefaqs.com, choose PS2, (or whichever platform), and search under "S", you'll find the title. Next to it you'll see "FAQs", "Codes", "Reviews" and "Boards". "FAQs" will have complete walkthroughs of the game, in the event you or your kids are stuck, and a good resource for help, plus, these faqs are authored by regular gamers like you and me, and written in plainspeak. If you want to take the easy way out, under "Codes", there are a few combos you can hit in the pause menu that will give you all of Scooby's power-ups, open all of the snack gates, etc..... I did it once, for giggles, but it was far more fun finding the power-ups myself. T.

Thanks for the FAQ info! It is frustrating to jump on the sails. Even I get frustrated there. I like to play the game without the codes, but maybe that would be good for the kids. Thanks so much for the info!

You're welcome! One last thing having to do with the uber-fun sail level, something that helped me a lot was not only floating with the umbrella to slow Scoob's descent, but watching where his shadow beneath him, so you don't wind up in the drink! ;D

It's ok. You still beat the game, even if you needed a little help. Nothing wrong with that!

Finished up this game again this weekend. I left two Scooby snacks out on the ship's sails, and I'm o.k. with that. This time around, I dropped the volume of the sound effects, and just listened to the music on each level. Too cool! There is no shame in searching for help, scoobygirl, sometimes, you just get stuck! T.

I do own a PS2, but haven;t got the game. I do think I played the game once, can't really remember though as it was a few years back. I do have Scooby-Doo! Who's Watching Who? It's okay, but it's a game for the the PSP, which kinda kills it! :S
