Being October and getting closer to Halloween, I thought this would be a good time to share this. My son did this last year with a little help from me at a weekly Saturday kids art class we often go to at the local art museum. I was trying to remember the haunted house in the opening sequence of SDWAY? when I helped him draw it. He was 8 years old but has autism and needed a little help getting started. He did all the crayon & watercolor himself though. Besides the big ghost to the left, you can see the head of another ghost in the lower left part of the house. There was supposed to be a window there that it's looking out of, but we accidentally colored over the window so you can't see it. Overall I thought it turned out pretty spooky looking, and thought you guys might like to see it. Let me know what you think and I'll pass the word along to Brannon. Happy Haunting! Mark

Forgot to mention, the medium they had us do this in was pretty cool too. The drawings are in crayon, which was done first on white paper. The 'night' is black watercolor that was painted over the entire surface afterwards.
Since wax and water don't mix, the watercolor only stuck to the sections and little nooks-&-crannies the crayon didn't cover.
I thought it ended up really nice because the black created a sense of little shadows throughout the drawing and made it look kinda like you were seeing the house in the dark. They did something similar this past summer, only using blue watercolor to look like the drawing was underwater. He did Sponge-Bob and Patrick that time.
