So a bit of a random question, but I was thinking about this the other day with the new film. Before I had seen this episode, I was thinking that this episode would be similar to "Scooby in Kwackyland," i.e. having the gang run through the television world (just like they traveled through the comic world in "Scooby in Kwackyland"). Personally, I thought the whole "Son of the Bride of Frankenstein" plot was kinda sacrificed towards the end because they were trying to do too much at once (with Zomba wanting to get the chest and all, in addition to trying to have them navigate the Frankenstein film).
I think this episode would have been a bit better if the gang had to navigate the television world, instead of being confined to just the "Frankenstein" film. In the same tone of the series, this would have allowed them to throw some cool meta-references/fourth-wall breaking in there. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Was the episode good as it was, or would this have made it better?

Traveling through tvland might have helped especially since the WAY and SDS episodes do happen as a show within a show by that point. Even 13 was presented as a show within itself and that would have been a better dismissal of the series than lack of oxygen for the movie...as i could see Daphne, Shaggy, Scooby and to a lesser extent Scrappy Flim Flam getting caught up in the act.
