This has been a project that has gone back and forth for years but now looks like is actually happening with Lebron James leading and based on the poster at least Bugs and Lola Bunny.
While we tend to talk Scooby and HB stuff here I know some of us are also LT fans. Which also means we know the very yo-yo like history of their usage in the last several years. In theory this might be the wow moment they need to kickstart themselves or the cement to their sometimes coherent uncle status. WB did put this movie's release in between two others opening that may eat up some of the audience. I don't know for sure if I'd call that a bad sign or at this point they're just going for it and hoping some magic happens and if not say oh well we tried. I'm going to try and hope for the best even if the LT's aren't my favorites. I hope at the very least we get a fun movie with them.

All the Looney Tunes fans upset about this movie really need to take the L and realize that Space Jam is the only modern LT project to connect with wide audiences. That doesn't mean it's good but LT purists have shunned truly innovative reboots like The Looney Tunes Show so they don't have a lot of credibility here.

I think some of us here know all to well what some of the Pro-LT Anti-Everything else purists are like. But I do think it's feasible this project could help them up from where they are at currently.
On an aside, we don't know much of anything on this movie but how do we think they would react if WB tosses a non-LT character into this movie even just for a short cameo joke?

Something else that gets overlooked by Looney Tunes Purists is that Space Jam is the only modern LT project to specifically market itself towards black audiences. No matter how bad the movie itself was, it's understandable why people are nostalgic for Space Jam. Especially given how the "sacred legacy" LT Purists uphold includes racist trash like Coal Black.

I'll definitely be going to see it! The first one was a staple of my childhood.

I loved Space Jam! My fiancé plays basketball and he loved it as well! There’s a high chance we’ll be seeing it when it comes out.
