I know that technically there's no more prehistoric-themed movies, but I'm sure Mask of the Blue Falcon is far from being the best choice.

I'll admit it's been a while since I've seen it, but I don't think Mask of the Blue Falcon has anything even remotely prehistoric in it. If they're gonna (re)release themed compilation sets, they should at least have enough episodes/films in that theme to use it.

This makes no sense 😥😡. I do not understand them they could throw so many episodes unpublished and bcsd season 2 before all that nonsense. Sure they sell less than everything mentioned above. I hope that on dates to the 50th anniversary they have planned to release unpublished episodes in some special season pack.

Best reason I could think is that there are people in the background dressed as Fred Flintstone and Captain Caveman.

Could just be because it's got a giant monster/robot/whatever in it.
Is this just movies, or does it include any episodes as well?
And I'm definitely going to get the Prehistoric set since I've been wanting to add Phantosaur to my collection.

Wound up picking this up at Wal-Mart today (Prehistoric Prey), liked seeing the new 50th anniversary slipcases on all the Scooby DVDs there.

Some Walmarts tend to break street date sometimes not "officially" mind you. Sometimes you just get lucky and see something you know totally isn't supposed to be there yet. That's how I picked up Gourmet Ghost early.

That's how I picked up Gourmet Ghost early. I've heard that, I just wasn't think it'd be out quite this early (still 3 weeks until the street date).

Picture quality wasn't great though. Is that a typical problem thing with these sets?

Picture quality wasn't great though. Is that a typical problem thing with these sets? That's odd, especially when I would imagine they could just use the same versions as on the original DVD. I haven't bought any of these double features in a while (as it would be silly given I already have individually), so I'm not sure how the current ones are, but the few older ones I have do not have that issue at all.
