I apologize if the subject has already been treated in other topics, I saw today the movie I just bought on DVD (i have not seen it since several years) and something struck me about the characters of Beau Neville and the fisher. Beau Neville worked since several months in their house and Simone and Lena (who had say they need new victimes all fulls moons) never tried to turn him into a zombie before? It's seem strange. Same thing for the fisher who is always on the island and apparently has never been attacked by the two women or Jacques.

The cat creatures needed to drain the life force of people every harvest moon, not full moon, so Beau was safe and for the fisherman i don't think they ever gave an explanation why. I would assume they never went after him because he spent most of his time on the boat and he would be somewhere else when night fell.

Could be the same for the fisherman, maybe he couldn't see his fishing line well enough at night so he only fished during the day? Not sure, but interesting to think about.

He was fishing when the zombies were out at night. I just think they didn't want to deal with him and his hunting pig.The dude had weapons and that hunting pig was ferocious. Another suggestion is that they probably needed people to throw off suspicion of themselves.

Beau was their *new* gardener. He hadn't been there long enough yet.
And Snakebite, well he's just Snakebite. He didn't notice when zombies were literally running around right next to him. Simon and Lena may have actually been worried that he'd cause more trouble than he was worth. They show with the wax dolls that some people they "don't waste time on".
