In the recent redesign of their site, CN removed all games from the Scooby-Doo page except 4, which are Scooby Trap, Creepy Castle, Attack of the Vampire Pumpkinheads and Ask Swami Shaggy. The Instamatic Monsters icon still shows up, but clicking on it just leads you to a "This game is no longer found" page. Here's a link to the "improved" CN website (sigh): www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/scooby-doo/index.html

Attack of the Vampire Pumpkinheads has now also been removed (though again, CN didn't remove the icon from the main page). A new game called Spooky Snack Search has been added, but it gets too glitchy after the first two sets of levels and is essentially unplayable. Great job, CN!

That is really sad, Vampire Pumpkin heads is one of the oldest games on the site and they're just editing history? How rude.

That is really sad, Vampire Pumpkin heads is one of the oldest games on the site and they're just editing history? How rude. Agreed, that was one of the oldest (and best) games on the site! Scooby Trap and Creepy Castle are essentially all that's left of the "classic" games, other than Swami Shaggy which is pretty lame IMO. Not sure why they're removing everything, as I can't see any reason that they would need or want to.

It's a Scrappy-Doo is good game. Anything that Scrappy is a hero in is considered lame sadly.

It's a good thought, but probably not why they removed it given they also removed several other older games previously that did not include Scrappy (Bayou Scooby-Doo, Ghosts of Pirate Beach, Hollywood Horror, etc.). It's also a bit debatable as to whether Scrappy is portrayed as a "hero" in the game, as you have to slam the door on him (aka not rescue him from the Vampire Pumpkinhead) in order to save the rest of the gang.

I have played that game so many times. Maybe Anti-hero is the better term. At least Scooby slamming a door on Scrappy could be seen as "stay safe" while Scrappy's trying to find the rest of his buddies. I liked that nice color coded Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy swatch at the top too. Scrappy Stinks is the only outright bad Scrappy game....I played it twice and then rejected it because I really don't have a problem with the pup.

Sadly, we're down to three now. The Ask Swami Shaggy game link no longer works (despite being on the main page still).

Creepy Castle will be the next to go probably. Scooby Trap has been the most popular game on Cartoon Network for Scooby since it was uploaded. The day Scooby-Trap goes is the day Cartoon Network officially goes down the drain.

The day Scooby-Trap goes is the day Cartoon Network officially goes down the drain. Agreed, but I hope Creepy Castle doesn't disappear! There's also that Be Cool Scooby-Doo: Spooky Snack Scare game, but the last five levels are so glitchy it's impossible to play.

Creepy Castle will be the next to go probably. You called it. Creepy Castle has been removed from their site now. The icons are still there, for this game, Spooky Snack Search and Ask Swami Shaggy, but the only working link now is Scooby Trap. One Scooby-Doo game on their website. How sad. What's the point of removing everything? It's not like they're causing any problems just being there.

...It's not like they're causing any problems just being there. Could be technical, if they are old there is a chance that they need to recompile it into a slightly less insecure version of Flash (or whatever it's written it) but have lost the source code or can't be bothered to do the whole develop/test/penetration test/deploy/maintain... thing. Or they've lost the source code.

Ah okay, I didn't realize that. Thanks for the info. In the two hours since I've posted this, Scooby Trap has also very sadly been removed. There are currently no games left on the Scooby-Doo website on Cartoon Network.
