Late Summer 2018: "Scooby-Doo! And the Gourmet Ghost" (new movie featuring celebrity chefs) 2019: "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?" (new series) 15 May 2020: "S.C.O.O.B." (new theatrical movie)
Possibly new KISS crossover movie is on the way as well.

It feels like they've been keeping quiet on other Scooby news to hype the movie, but now that it's out on digital and streaming I hope we hear something about the DTV line again soon. Or more on the TV front.
Least I have the Daphne and Velma novels to look forward to, next one is dropping soon. Still, more news soon would be great.

Honestly, I think they need to slow down on the DTVs. Maybe do one every other year.

Honestly, I think they need to slow down on the DTVs. Maybe do one every other year. Eh, that's too slow for me. At least one a year. I can understand three a year being too much for some, although I don't think we collecters are in the equation here - they just want Scooby on the New Movies shelf a lot for the impulse buy from parents with kids with them - not the type who are going to buy every single release. So while it may be hard to keep up with, the aim is purchases not coming from those keeping up with the title. Always have something Scooby related for the impulse buy. Also while these films are still largely making their money through physical DVD sales there is an argument to make endless Scooby product to put up on streaming. Plus there's multiple animated DC films a year. If you think there's a lot of Scooby just try being a DC Superhero Animation nerd like me too. Three to four DTV films in the mainline PG 13 series alone, plus at least one Lego DC DTV a year, plus one offs like Scooby Doo and Batman the Brave and the Bold, Batman Ninja (a one off anime film), Batman vs the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (awesome), the two Adam West Batman DTV movies before he passed, and films made to promote toylines like JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time and the three Batman Unlimited movies. It's a lot of DC (especially Batman), but then they aren't considering the collector who will buy everything, but aiming for random buys from the general audience of various demographics. If Godzilla, Dracula, Kong, Frankenstein, and Sherlock Holmes were getting animated DTVs too I'd be swamped trying to keep up.

Honestly, I think they need to slow down on the DTVs. Maybe do one every other year. I mean, if they were Zombie Island level brilliant then yeah, I'd love it if they took their time and polished. But, as is, I don't really care for the present cast line-ups or writing. Waiting 2 years for a disappointment doesn't sound like much fun. And, as vakanai said, DC already does a handful of DTVs every year. I think Scooby should be somewhat competitive with that.
