I hadn't been posting much from here, because they hadn't actually updated much. The TBA's didn't get updated but this wasn't new given I saw this before. But as of today (not sure when it went up) but there is this new entry. www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/2161953/Scooby-Doo-and-the-Gourmet-Ghost/It's listed for 2018 and either Scooby Doo and the Gourmet Ghost or Scooby Doo and the Hungry Ghost. So let's keep and eye out for some food related movie announcement. Edit: I'm assuming it's not lego, as the two lego movies on that datebase are labeled Lego Scooby Doo in the title and this is not.

I'm confused as to why they thought celebrity chefs would make good guest stars. Not even us Americans really know who they are outside of those who watch their shows.

Why couldn't they just make a movie where Scooby teams up with Superman or even Wonder Woman and Donna Troy. I'd even settle for Flash or any of the human Green Lanterns (especially Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner or Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz).

I had missed that news a script had circulated, but then this totally coincides with that.
I'm not that knowledgeable of celebrity chefs, but at this point I think as long as Scooby is there they can risk other things. See how many of non regular Scooby fans come in. If they don't they still have the regular audience. Although the idea Scooby and Shaggy want to go to a place where a bunch of celebrity chefs are is a pretty easy choice of a mystery setup.

This sounds veeery interesting. I love when they try new stuff, even if they fail. I know Giada de Laurentiis and most of US cooks thanks to the Ellen Show but I still wish Gordon Ramsay will be in it too. Martha Stewart, Jamie Oliver, there are many..

Well as Ramsey comes over as a foulmouthed bully whose prime skills are shouting, swearing and belittling people I hope he isn't in it. Have parodies or caricatures of chiefs, don't have the real ones.

Also Gene Simmons is a foulmouthed bully in real life and he still appeared in a Scooby movie.

I hope this one actually gets made. TCM.com had a listing for a second regular Scooby movie for last year and only Shaggy's Showdown materialized. I also can't wait for new info on that new series.

Pretty sure that one was the Batman one. They just pushed it back a few days because 2018 is symbolic for both Batman: The Brave and the Bold and the Scooby Doo Direct to Video Film series, both having 10 year marks this year.
They had entries for Scooby Doo WWE 2, and then made a new one for Curse of the Speed Demon and deleted the old. They made an entry for Scooby Doo Lego 2017, made a new one for the movie and deleted it afterwards. I fully expect those old TbA's to be eliminated all the same. Nothing on this site since I first reported it here has given me reason to doubt it's credibility.

The Scooby Dtv series started in 1998 so this was its Twenty year mark.

That one only came out in the second week of the year, so all of it's work was done before hand. It makes sense it would have originally been a TBA2017 but pushed back because of that and that 2018 is Batman: The Brave and the Bold's 10 year anniversary mark.
My major question here is if the push back might mean only two this year or three? Of course one of those TBA 2018's may have been Daphne and Velma as well. So there's that to think about.

I hope this is true, I'd love another Scooby only film, no crossover just ordinary scooby film. Plus it sounds interesting.
I wonder when will get info on the new series?
