I'm not happy about it. I was not a fan of the first movie and not looking forward to another. Why can't they do other, never-been-done-before crossovers?

Captain Caveman could be cool. I'm excited for the Supernatural crossover.

Captain Caveman could be cool. I'm excited for the Supernatural crossover. I think a Funky Phantom crossover would be cool too. Or Clue Club. I'd love to see Velma's and Dotty's egos clashing. A Goober and the Ghost Chasers or Chan Clan or Sundance Kids team up would be cool too. I'd also like Scooby and the gang to meet Jonny Quest and his family unit while Race Bannon's daughter Jessie is present.

I'm excited for it.
While as long as the DTV series goes on I expect it is possible we will see more HB crossovers but let's also not forget they might be saving some of those for the theatrical plans. While I doubt too many of the other meddling kids will be that front and center, they might want to reintroduce some of them before we start seeing them in new productions.

Neither was I but it was better than say the second WWE film, but that is a very low bar. As has been said elsewhere here you do wonder if they have run out of ideas.

Well lets hope they avoid the whole Daphne/Starchild? thing, the man is old enough to be her grandfather.

They aren't well-known enough to appear in a crossover DTV, unlike something like Kiss or Batman, who both have a huge amount of fans that these will appeal to. As much as I would like to see these crossovers, I don't think it would make much business sense for WB to do this.

As long as they paired with one of the heavyweights (Scooby or Tom and Jerry) I don't think WB would be that phobic of using anything at least half way down the HB/RS/MGM rabbit hole. As they really do need to test out some of these shows before they bank on them in bigger roles or in solos. But of course I'd argue we kind of have been slowly seeing that. They used crossovers to test use Fred Flintstone, George Jetson and Jonny Quest again. And is anybody not see through how in one year we saw Tom and Jerry go back to Oz and Scooby be involved in a wrestling inspired wacky race, and now Wb's produced tv shows for Oz and Wacky Races. So i'm not really going to be surprised to see them use more Scooby and T&J movies to test out older characters or ideas before greenlighting them as a solo series or movie.
I know some people were thinking that the script Lillard teased could be for a New Scooby Doo Movies type show. If that is then it would make complete sense to try out many of them there first over a dtv film. Given in theory it should cost less to try it out for a half hour versus the full movie. Might it also be possible Kiss could be involved in this as well?
As I said in one of the other threads I'd imagine in the next few years we're going to really be seeing which of the non-main HB properties WB feels confident in today and who will mostly be confined to cameos and dvd/digital releases.
