This was a pretty good episode. It mixed it up a lot from the typical Scooby-Doo formula with them going to an exotic location like Hawaii. Also the gang is split up sometimes. The monster and plot is just alright but the new stuff makes it fresh and fun.

This is one of my favorite episodes. I love the part at the end where Velma is learning to Hula and Shaggy is ogling her.

Also, if you listen closely to the voice of the undercover police officer who payed for one final party, doesn't he sound a lot like the real voice of Casey Kasem?

Also, if you listen closely to the voice of the undercover police officer who payed for one final party, doesn't he sound a lot like the real voice of Casey Kasem? Kasem does a LOT of background characters throughout the various shows. You can hear him as a radio announcer, pizza guy, etc.

Most underrated WAY you episode imo. The Setting and Antics are just so much fun and the mystery is actually pretty good when you think that the person the gang care for and are trying to track down is the very one that's playing them for fools. Hawaii backdrop elevates the episode to new levels for me though.

I agree with this episode being one of the most underrated episodes from WAY!. the monster is pretty iconic and the mystery is definitely interesting even though it pretty easy to figure out. My major complaint is that there is no music in this one which is a shame, but they make this up with atmosphere. The spooky village and creepy jungles of Hawaii make this video a fun watch. One thing I miss from the older series was the background looked a lot spookier.

This is one of my favorite episodes. I love the part at the end where Velma is learning to Hula and Shaggy is ogling her. She could've did that to get Shaggy's attention back in Mystery Incorporated instead of keeping her bikini underneath her clothing.

Nice episode. Nothing spectacular but a good solid episode. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think Aloha Scooby Doo is the best Scooby mystery in Hawaii

The change in settings helped with the pace although I felt like they kept on going back and forth between losing and finding each other, like a The New Scooby Movies episode

I wrote a couple years ago about how I thought this was the most underrated WAY episode but since then, A Tiki Scare has surprisingly risen to be one of my favourite episodes, of all time! I can't really justify why as, on paper, it's nothing that special but the whole escapade just works so well for me! Mano Tiki Tia is an insane monster idea and the Tiki Witchdoctor is one of my personal favourites. The mystery isn't very involving but it's the unique setting and quirky set-pieces that truly set this episode apart, for me.
Mystery: 7.5/10 Villain(s): 9/10 Setting: 10/10
Overall Score: 10/10

Plot: A decent Scooby-Doo episode with a very good mystery. Also, it had such a nice little plot twist in the end. 8/10 Set Up:I adore Hawaii, so I loved the setting. The Haunted Village was super creepy too! 10/10 Monster(s).The Witch Doctor had a cool first appearance, but other than that, he is quite forgettable. Mano Tiki Tia has a nice design, and I love the idea of a giant statue monster, but at some point you can see the wheels under its feet. which screams fake all over the place. 7/10
BONUS Nostalgia Boost: +0.3. I saw this episode many times, and I always liked it.
Overall, another decent SDWAY episode. Final Score: 8.6/10

Swimming through that tunnel was really neat; always felt unique and ahead of its time to me. Later Scooby media had similar underwater cave and cavern exploration.
