A few more 1980 Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo shorts have now been added. I don't really like those shorts, though...

Just thought I'd post this here from a survey I was sent from Boomerang. Looks like they're considering adding all the Scooby-Doo episodes based on one of the options! Oh and this survey is supposed to be confidential, so no one tell the Boomerang police please.

Thanks for sharing. I admit I can't decide on what Boomerang's definition of "every Scooby episode" is. That's a huge undertaking if they fulfil my idea of every episode! Haha. But hey, even if they try I'm super excited that we'll be getting more at least!

I would hope they actually mean every Scooby episode, otherwise that's a bit deceitful IMO. They own all the episodes anyway so not like it would be difficult for them to add them, at least I wouldn't think so.

Read this today:
"The service also said it is launching a "full Spanish-language experience" over Memorial Day weekend, along with new product features like the ability to create avatars and playlists and Universal Search on Roku, Amazon and Apple platforms."
Playlists sound interesting. Boomerang seems to be taking user requests seriously and they really want this to continually evolve for the better it looks like.

It just dawned on me that WB/Turner doesn't have the rights to put episodes like the Cher episode on DVD but what if streaming is okay? 😀😀😁
Who knows, maybe Boomerang could become a Scooby paradise. Crossing my fingers.

On that don't worry. As per every legal but I've read, "streaming" in this sense counts as brodcasting. If you hear us say something has rights problems getting to dvd, it affects discs and downloads because that counts as "home media". Anything that you have seen them air on tv, should be legally a-ok to be on the streaming service. Which in theory of course could help us see some of the ones they are still fighting fees for in home media.
The "problem" with such services in content is companies like to constantly tout having "new content" to them to make it seem appealing beyond those who watch endless reruns. So they won't just put everything out all at once. I would imagine in the end-game WB Animation will be able to make enough new content to add while the older content from the various libraries keeps adding up. But I think we have a little room for improvement there as witnessed by all the content currently "done" but not yet on the app yet. Scooby being one of the bigger properties is of course one of guarenteed top items they could release either to dvd or streaming. Which is why I think some have been otherwise stalled.

Putting all the Scoobys that aren't there obviously would be a good move at any given time. But obviously you have the right idea using quotes, as we never know for sure until it happens.
More Doo available on any content way is good in my book. But I won't be satisfied until they are all available on every one. But that's over-achiever me lol.

All I have is really old, sketchy copies of it.

I would say there is a very good possibility for every Scooby-Doo episode to be added now. Boomerang just added every episode of The Jetsons, as well as every episode but 2 of the Flintstones series. "The Masquerade Party" is excluded (presumably because it parodied the British Music Invasion of the 1960s, guessing maybe they don't have the rights?). "Fred Goes Ape" has also not been added yet, for reasons that should be obvious due to recent events.
The "Scooby-Doo and the Beach Beastie" special was also added today.

They actually added "Fred Goes Ape" (I'm a bit surprised) this morning as well, leaving only 1 Flintstones episode missing. I'd say the chances of every Scooby episode are rising!

Honestly i'm quite happy to hear news like this. They are putting a bunch of the top content there. Which I would say implies some form of confidence, either in the new material in itself will be a good draw and/or that WB has more confidence than we thought in the mid-level content that will probably come in after more of the top guys are there.

the fact that nearly all episiodes of Scooby are ther is quite surprising- in a good way. now if they can just get New scooby Mysteries up, that would be the feather in the cap.
