The first part was great, quick and intense. The close-ups on Velma and the laptop were def a highlight. It proved how you don't need em to fight monsters to have an engaging story. As long as I hate a Scrappy I appreciate the fact that he is a more complex that I thought it would be.

I liked this issue. Not a lot of action, which gave enough room for the characters to interact. The Scrappy story was really good, even though his monlogue seemed awkward at times. The end was heart-breaking... Hope Scrappy ends up being a good guy.

I could see Velma finding him like that, she telling him he isn't a monster and them sitting down together and having a heart-to-heart.

Well Scrappy has always been considerably smarter than scooby. See him solving all the clues in Boo Brothers

This wasn't smart, this was 'a road to Damascus' experience, he knows who he is and what he has become. It appears that he isn't too happy with what he has become. Where the story will go from there is anyone's guess but I hope it is good for Scrappy.
