Velma goes missing?! Assuming she ran off after the revelations in #9? The cover looks really cool, glad to see Howard Porter back in the art again. His Scrappy (who assumingly will appear in this issue) is better drawn than Eaglesham's.

Daphne could have lost the plot and Velma fled for her life or she wrote a note for the gang explaining it all while they were sleeping and left.

If they do put up posters in the issue, that means they've found other humans who haven't been affected!

Well according to DC's solicits for March this story is now issue #11, I'm guessing this sets up the cliff-hanger for issue #12 and the end of the 2nd trade paperback. No update on what issue #10 is about that I've found.

funny how they re-number stuff. so 9 would be 10, 8 would be 9 and so on.

Well #9 is still #9 what it looks like they have done is to move the story that was going to be in #10 to #11 so we will get a different #10. Issue #12 will mark the end of the next trade paperback so I expect they are setting up the climax for the end of the next trade. Which I expect will be the showdown with Scrappy.

Issue #10 just got a lot madder. Cover image here. cdn.bleedingcool.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/STL034147.jpg It's a T rated comic and while i think the cover is epic, and understand the context, a younger member may not. In this issue, meet Velma, Warrior Queen of Monsterworld! In the midst of a fever dream, the mild-mannered Velma Dinkley visits an alternate reality where friends become enemies and horrifying monsters are now her loyal subjects. Will Scooby and the gang survive her tyrannical rule? Hopefully normal service is resumed in issue #11. Source BleedingCool

I expect this I Daphne or Velma's dream/nightmare and to pad out the story so issue #12 will end with a cliffhanger.
But it does mean Velma as Red Sonja is now a thing, which i didn't know I wanted until now.
