Pretty good, not a whole lot happened though. Scooby was amazing in this one as he was actually giving screentime page time? I hope they develop more of the relationships besides Fred/Shaggy and Daphne/Velma as its beginning to get repetitive. I can't wait to see where the other basses are, let's hope Oakhaven. :3
The Fraphne isn't as forced as in other media but I do feel it's not needed and could've been started from scratch rather than have Fred remember years ago. I'm not sure when they're going to add in Shelma, but expect it soon.
Oh I was kind of disappointed with the lack of obvious references. They could've easily showed them looking at their original clothes along with Daphne's and Shaggy's different 80's outfits in the shop. Also it's weird Daphne's parents have their original jobs and Shaggy's father is a supermarket owner rather than a police officer.
Scrappy as the secondary villain? Eh... I was really hoping he would at least be an anti-hero but he seems to be based off his live action film counterpart, but with some what better writing (his villain origin still makes no sense, he wants to kill Scooby as he's stupid?). I am excited to see how this will subplot will develop. Also I wonder are all the dogs Doos or is it only Scooby and Scrappy.
I do like this alternative Scooby universe even if I don't agree with their relationships and Scrappy, but it's a lot less fan fiction esc. like M.I. so it is worthwhile.

I thought the issue was great. Of course Shaggy and Scooby loved High School Musical. Daphne is still a little cold but i like how she wound up at least for a few minutes warmed up to Velma. I'm liking this portrayal of Shaggy. Fred finally stood up a little to Daphne. Telling her to ease off. Obviously, as a Fraphne fan i was into some of the back story. But at the same time i don't think it was a big focus. We now know they dated for a short time in the past. Didn't work out. So maybe using a little of the live action cartoon network movies story there. Where they dated but decided to just be Friends. Here it's clear Fred still isn't over it though.
The Scrappy portrayal is interesting. He actually seemed like he was going to be good. Then he went on about wanting to kill Scooby. So i think he's sort of a leader but he has another motive for some reason. So yep, he's a secondary villain. Anyway, can't wait for #5.

Well I almost called it on the end of the first scene :-)
We got to see Velma's drone, and it packs quite a punch. Daphne got to use her new best friend and Shaggy slept through everything. Fred is starting to come out of his sell, well Daphne did say that he had the heart of a lion and he's beginning to prove it.
As for Scrappy, it's clear he's got a number of issues and that this part of the story is going to run for a while as the gang have a good head start on them, I guess he's bitter as Scooby probably got all the attention which he felt he deserved. It also looks like it's Velma's turn for 'damsel in distress' duty at some point if Scrappy gets his way. He might be smart but Velma's in a different league.
The relationships between the gang are developing, Fred and Shaggy are bonding well (over food, us guys are easy to please) as well and Daphne and Velma's. I think they're taking a more realistic approach to relationships which means they will take time to develop, but that is part of the joy, the interaction between them. The same is true for the story telling, we're used to the gang wrapping up the mystery in 20 minutes of a few pages of a comic. Scooby Apocalypse is the 'Lord of the Ring Extended Edition' of the Scooby comic world and like other good thing (beer, cheese and, more beer) it takes time to mature. We also see how Velma will get the clues to the Seattle - she'll find a wifi hotspot and do a bit of hacking.
And the Fraphne, it's there, but managed in a way orders of magnitude better than the DTVs and especially SD:MI ever handled it.
I'm really loving the little details, the expression on the rats when Scooby is fighting the vampire and the cat on the last page are just excellent. And seriously, there is so much incidental detail, a phone on the floor with text messages on, a 6-pack with the plastic connectors, this stuff takes time.
The only thing that confused me was Shaggy's reference to the power being off for days - unless I missed something I didn't think that a whole day had gone by yet.

Well they're going to have to explain why Scrappy and Scooby have the same last name if the other dogs don't. While the other dogs don't look like Ruby and Howie ect. don't be surprised if that's who they are, hey I don't mind as they're finally using existing characters.

That was a very good story. The opening monster attack was very frightening and gory, I like it! I hope we see more of Velma's drone. Also the introduction of Scrappy was a very good one. I think I like this version of him. He's intelligently evil, not silly like in the live-action movie. I hope we learn his connection to Scooby. I can so see his smartdogs cornering the gang and Scrappy standing on a hill overlooking them and say "We finally catch up, dear uncle". Now THAT would be a cliffhanger!
