must be a mistake, is my guess. Or the lighting, if thr artist is looking to show light shining through the hair or perhaps the hair would have been to dark otherwise.

Does anyone's dark brown hair turn that blonde under lights though? Maybe it was partly lighting and a mistake, like the writers wanted to make it look slightly blonder under that particular lighting, but they accidentally made it too blonde?
